One of Torrent's unique features is thಞe ability to use spiritsprings to reach higher areas that you normally couldn't. While you usually don't encounter any problems with this, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion introduces a twist: some of these spiritsprings are sealed and cannot be used right away.
How To Unlock Sealed Spiritsprings
As you progress through the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion in Elden Ring, you will notice that some of the spiritsprings used when mounting Torrent to reach higher areas are not working. These can be recognized by their much smaller size and severely weakened vortex compared to the functioning ones.
This sealed ritual that affected them can, however, be disabled and you will need to find a stack of stones, usually located within a limited radius of the spiritspring to which it is tied. Once you find this cairn, all you need to do is attack it to break the﷽ seal and make the spiritspring functional.

While you might encounter a sealed spiritspring first, if you've met Moore before and checked his shop, you can buy a note called Sealed Spiritsprings, which provides a hint on how to unlock them, and basically, this i💛s how we managed to figure it out.
