There were fears that it had been scrapped, especially since the documents stated that it would launch in 2022. However, there were still ru♏mours, including claims that it is now a full-blown remake. Now, Xꦬbox insider NateTheHate is throwing his hat into the ring, saying that an Oblivion remake will launch in June of this year.

NateTheH♔ate brings this up at around the 23:55 minute mark in the latest episode of his podcast, where he shared his thoughts on Xbox's plan going into 2025. He says that the next few months should be exciting, espe🐈cially since they could give us the Oblivion reveal.

The original document t🌱hat leaked this project was from before 2020 and referred to it as an O🦋blivion remaster, not a remake. It's possible that it was delayed to 2025 to make it a full remake instead.

"All Microsoftꦓ really needs to communicate at this point is that if you, if you have a Game Pass subscription or you own an Xbox, there's going to be product for you to enjoy," NateTheHate says. "Naturally, Doom is a multi-platform game so PlayStation fans are going to be tuning in to find out more information [...] and t♛hen [Xbox] announce in a couple more months that Oblivion is coming out in June and you just keep the momentum going."
