Whether you have the Dawnguard expansion or not, Skyrim has the option for you to contract Vampirism, and play as a bloodthirsty creature of the night. DLC or not, there are some gameplay mechanics that the conditions add, be it strength🎃s, weaknesses, unique abil🔯ities, and more.
Depending on how you work into these mechanics, your vampiric Dragonborns can have an easy time stalking the frosty lands of Skyrim. Perhaps the easiest way to bolster your Vampirism is through the leveling and perk system. Inde♒ed, many vampiric abilities can benefit from normal skill boosts. As such, these are the best skills for a Vampiric build.
10 Destruction - Novice⭕ Destruction
Whether a fledgling Vampire or veteran Vampire Lord, you will be granted immediate access to Vampiric Drain. This is classified as a Novice spell under the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destruction Skill tree, and costs six Magicka per second, at its base. It can cost a maximum of 17 Magicka per second, and for low-level players, that can be a hefty amount to burn through in a short period 🐼of time.
The Novice Destruction perk is an easy remedy to this, as it halves the Magicka cost of all Novice spells on the tree, including Vampiric Drain. Fortunately, it's also the first skill of the tree, meaning it can be immediately unlocked without training Destruction magic. Whether hunting or fighting, preserving as much Magicka as possible is useful to any Vampire.
9 Destruction - 👍Dual Casting
As Vampiric players learn to hone their predatory skills, they'll find themselves turning to Vampiric Drain a ton, as it's one of the few directly offensive abilities granted by Vampirism early on. Again, it is considered a Novice-level spell, making it relatively ineffective against tougher enemies.
This is where Destruction's Dual Casting perk can come in handy. You will need Novice Destruction already unlocked, and for the skill to be trained to level 20. The perk doubles the damage of all Destruction spells - Vampiric Drain included - when cast from both hands. Combined with the halved Magicka cost from the Novice Destruction perk and Vampiric Drain's already-beneficial effects, this can turn the relatively weak spell into a fierce weapon in any Vampire's arsenal.
8 𒆙 𒊎 Sneak - Stealth Tier One
The longer Vampires go without consuming blood, the stronger certain skills become, but so do weaknesses. Feeding on any sleeping character staves off these effects, but it's important to not get caught - the price of being found feasting is immediate hostility from any nearby NPCs, plus a hefty fine throughout the hold.
Stealth Tier One of Sneak can remedy this. It's the first perk of the skill tree, meaning you can access it without any skill training. It also grants an immediate 20 percent boost to Sneak, a relatively high boost for those starting out early. It's especially useful for early Vampires, as it can make the difference between being busted, or remaining hidden.
7 🐓 ꧙Sneak - Shadow Warrior
Vampires are fearsome creatures of the night. Stealth is their friend, and an especially useful skill against enemies, both Dawnguard and Vigilant of Stendarr alike. For any seasoned Vampire Lord, it's just as important to attack from the shadows, as it is to use their abilities.
The Shadow Warrior perk, then, is the perfect addition to any stealthy hunter. It's the last perk on the Sneak tree, meaning the skill must be leveled to 100, and you will need to have unlocked every perk from Stealth through Silence to access it. The perk stops combat momentarily, and causes distant enemies to lose sight of you. Those small effects can turn the tide of any battle in a Vampire's favor.
6 Restoration 🐲- Aꦿdept Restoration
One of Vampirism's few drawbacks is daylight. While sun rays won't kill Skyrim's Vampires, they will prevent automatic recovery of stats. Health is included in this, meanings you will need a variety of methods to restore HP, or avoid losing it.
Accessing the Adept Restoration perk, then, is extremely useful. There are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:several healing spells and one ward spell at the adept level, and cutting their Magicka cost in half can come in h🐬andy during a daylight fight. To access the perk, the skill must be leveled to 50, and have the Nov🎃ice and Apprentice Restoration perks already unlocked.
5 ♕ Restoration - Ward Absorb
Aside from daylight, Vampires also have a natu𓄧ral weakness to fire damage, making them especially vulnerable to Destruction magic. Having 🐼a few ward spells ready for a fight can come in handy, especially against a mage or fellow Vampire. Magicka is another stat affected by daylight, meaning no automatic regeneration, and a dangerous situation in daylight battles.
The Ward Absorb perk can remedy this, though. This Restoration ability allows any cast ward to absorb Magicka from hostile spells when hit. The skill must be leveled to 60, but only requires the Novice Restoration perk unlocked. This perk can turn an enemy's attack into any player's boon.
4 Alteration - Magic R💝esistance T♛ier Three
If Vampiric you😼 choose your perks right, even the natural weakness to fire can be mitigated. From Alchemy to Enchanting, there are a litany of ways to temporarily 🌸resist damage. The Alteration skill tree offers a more permanent solution.
That is the Magic Resistance perk, specifically tier three. The perk blocks the effects of all hostile spells, increasing from ten 🧔to 30 percent through the tiers. Fire spells are included in this resistance, partially counteracting the natural weakness of Vampirism. The last tier ofཧ the perk requires the skill to be leveled to 70, and have the Novice and Apprentice perks already unlocked.
3 ♎ ✨ Illusion - Apprentice Illusion
Vampirism grants 💖many magic-based abilities, perks, and weaknesses, among which is stealth. As creatures of the night, Vampires need as many methods to elude enemies as possible, and the school of Illusion magic help as much as natural Sneak.
One such Illusion perk is Apprentice Illusion, which halves the Magicka cost of Apprentice-level spel🦩ls like Muffle, Fear, and Calm - all of which are useful to a Vampire, whether in combat or stealth. The perk requires the skill to be leveled up to 25, and you need to have unlocked Novice Illusion.
2 ♌ ꦺ Illusion - Expert Illusion
The longer Vampires go without eating, the more strengths they unlock, alongside weaknesses. Should you not want to risk those weaknesses, the school of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Illusion has many spells similar to Vampiric abilities. Some of those abilities come with a high Magicka cost though, so it's pertinent that you spend their perks wisely.
One such perk is Expert Illusion, which halves the Magicka cost of Expert-level spells like Invisibility, Pacify, and Rout. This requires the skill to be leveled to 75, and you need to have unlocked every perk b🔯etween Novice and Adept. For all reward and little risk, these spells are definitely worth it for any Vampire.
1 Conjuration - Summoner Tie♏r One
One enticing ability given to Vampires is that of Vampire's Servant. Unlike most conjure undead spells, this requires no Magicka cost, and becomes more powerful the less a Vampire feeds. However, this ability can still be influenced by the Conjuration school, with major benefits.
This is done through the Summoner perk. This ability allows you to raise undead or summon atronachs from further distances - twice as far for the first tier, and thrice for the second. The first tier requires a skill level of 30 and only the Novice perk, while the second requires level 70. Vampire's Servant is also affected by the perk, and while the first tier is extremely useful for any Vampire on its own, you should definitely aim to unlock tier two.
