A journey through the world of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one filled with dragons, draugr and other 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:terrifying monsters. However, it's not just the beasts of the wild that are the most frightening beings in Bethesda's ever-successful open world fantasyꦫ game. Sometimes it's the people, the inhabitants of Skyrim, that are the most evil creatures.

Although the Dragonborn themselves can also choose to be without a doubt the most evil being in t🎃he entire provဣince of Skyrim, there's still a whole host of antagonists and minor NPCs that send a shiver down a player's spine. Here are the worst of them.

10 Astrid

Leader of the infamous Dark Brotherhood assassins' guild, Astrid isn't only evil because of how she absolutely delights in killing😼 people, but also because she's fundamentally self-serving despite pretending to be the mother and leader of🃏 her guild.

In reality, Astrid has abandon🍎ed the Five Tenets of the Brotherhood a long time ago and grown comfortable in her position of power. When the Dragonborn turns out to be the Listener, she becomes jealous and feels threatened to the point where she rats out the entire guild and sends the Penitus Oculatus to raid the sanctuary.

9 Ancano

Thalmor Agent Ancano within the main hall of the College of Winterhold

An agent of the Thalmo🌠r, Ancano immediately comes across as arrogant and cold when met for the first time in the College of Winterhold. Turns out, everyone has the right to be suspicious of him as he walks around the halls of the College, keeping a close eye on its residents♔ and the Dragonborn in particular.

Ancano is actually looking f♏or a way to take over the College from within, and believes that he and his people have all the right to do so. When the Eye of Magnus is discovered, Ancano tries to take control of it and harness its dangerous power for his people, ಞin order to wipe out the College.

8 Miraak

Although Miraak hasn't actually caused that much suffering to humans in particular, he's still a daunting antagonist to go up against in the Dragonborn DLC. Miraak's story is all about greed and lust for power. He began as a servant of th♋e dragons years ago, but his pride got the best of him.

After rejecting his dragon masters and betraying them in order to absorb their powers and enslave🏅 dragons instead, Miraak became an extremely powerful individual, in part thanks to Hermaeus Mora. His treatment of dragons, who gave him his capacities in the first place, is despicable, and he'll stop at nothing to grow his power.

7 ꦡ Grelod The Kind

There's one thing tha🙈t's definitely not okay, even if it happens within a video game, and it's the abuse of children. That's why Grelod, a seemingly harmless antagonist with not a lot of power, ranks as high🦩 as she does on this list.

Grelod is the own🧸er of an orphanage in Riften, but she's anything but kind. She's known to violently abuse the children and speak to them in a belittling way. Moreover, she actually prevents them from ever getting adopted so that she can continue torturing them. It's why killing her during one of the quests feels so rewarding, because of how awful of a person🍒 she is.

6 ꦇ Mercer Frey 🎃

When it comes to the greediest thief in the entirety of Skyrim, no one's quite as bad to the bone as Mercer Frey, the leader of the Thieves Guild in Riften. He's not the nicest person to begin with and seems dismissive of the Dra♔gonborn at first, and that's all because he's extremely self-centered.

Mercer's greed is so deep that when he was caught stealing from the guild by the former leader, he killed his leader and pinned the blame on former member Karliah. Not to mention, Mercer's in possession of the Skeleton Key, which is an artifact of Nocturnal, meaning he's stolen from a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Daedric Lord and broken his promise to Nocturnal.

5 ♔ Mave♋n Black-Briar

Skyrim Maven Black-Briar Cropped

One of the most influential characters in Skyrim, Maven🀅 is the leader of the Black-Briar family, who holds tremendous amounts of political power in Rift🍃en, but also across the province. She's cold and calculative and very snobby.

Maven's cruelty is apparent in the fact that no one♑ is safe from her will. Family members alike can end up dead or imprisoned if things don't go her way, which goes to show how i♎ncredibly cutthroat she is.

4 Thonar Silve🌠r-Blood

Another rich schemer, Thonar h꧒olds perhaps the most power and leverage in Markarth. He considers the entire city to work for him and his family, and he looks down upon everyone, thinking they're pretty much his pawns or his slaves.

Moreover, he participated in the destruction of the Forsworn, who happen to be natives of the Reach. ♑One could even say it was a genocide of sorts as many Forsworn were killed in the process, while some fled into the wilds.

3 Elenwen

The Thalmor of the Aldmeri Dominion are extremely disliked, and for good reason. They have highly questionable motivations concerning Tamriel and Skyrim in particular, whicཧh is why Elenwen, their ambassador to Skyrim, is pretty much the face of their evil.

Her people believe they'👍re the superior compared to everyone else, and seek to have one of their own p﷽olitically in power just about everywhere in Skyrim. Anyone seen worshiping Talos is pretty much dead and a sub-species in their eyes.

2 𝓰 Ulf✅ric Stromcloak

Ulfric is a bit of controversial figure, but once everything he's done is taken into account, he's extremely two-faced and evil. Not only did Ulfric misuses Thu'um on numerous occasions for violence, despite the Greybeards stating it was only to be used for worship, but he participated in the Markarth incident, which led to the current state 🐻of the Forsworn.

Ulfric is also believed to be a pawn of the Aldmeri Dominion, who wants to see the Empire break apart from within for easier political conquest. The Grey Quarters in Windhelm are also a testament to Ulfr💖ic's racism towards elves and his perpetual mistreatment of the Dunmer.

1 Alduin

Although the clash with Alduin was anti-climactic, he still ranks as the most evil character in the entire gam✃e. Alduin participated in the enslavement of humankind and was known to be a cruel, violent leader.

He even forced his priests to perform human sacrifices to his name, which goes to show how little he cares about li𝐆fe or humankind in general. He's the harbinger of destruction and death, condensed into dragon form.
