Sadly, not everyone out there is a potential best bud inꦰ the making. Some NPCs are off-limits for jolly cooperation, whether for plot, quest utility, or to avoid making you too overpowered. You can only look on longingly and speculate about what could have bee🌄n if you were allowed to go on a road trip together.
10 ꩵ Knight Paladin 🃏Gelebor
Who wouldn't enjoy an adventurer with a living relic of the past? Knight-Paladin Gelebor is, per the end of the Dawnguard questline, the last known uncorrupted Snow Elf left in Tamriel. He's far removed from the hideous, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:warped remains of his species who were corrupted by the Dwemer's enslavement.
Gelebor is a righteous, duty-bound fellow. It's understandable that he feels responsible for guarding the Chantry, but with perhaps no others of his kind left, who is he preserving it for? Surely he could do more good for his Mer cousins out in the world, with a little help from a dragon slayer, of course.
9 Sam Guevenne 🎉 🐓
There is one NPC that you share more than a few adventures with; you just remember next to nothing about them. Sam Guevenne is a jovial fellow who knows how to party. You may run into him in any tavern in Skyrim, and he'll challenge you to a drinking contest.
The next thing you know, your unconscious form is being poked at by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a priestess in Markarth, and you've carved a path of destruction across the country 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:on a truly apocalyptic bar crawl. What a fun guy. Unfortunately, your drinking buddy reveals himself as the Daedric Prince Sanguine, wh▨ich probably means a re-run is off.
8 Babette
Some potential followers, like Jarls, higher Daedra, and dragons, are out of running based on power alone. A few others are excluded on this basis that are less obvious. Babette 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:is an assassin and a vampire. She's also eternally trapped in the body of a child. This gives her access to the most terrifying plot armor on Tamriel.
ಞHer child status and immunity to harm allow her to kill and feast on the people of Skyrim and never see justice, regardless of who might come after the Dark Brotherhood. It would be fun to have a murderous child in tow, but between you and her, there would be no one leℱft alive.
7 🎉 Talsgar The Wanderer
Who doesn't 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:want their own personal bard? Ta🐻lsgar is a bard who wanders Skyrim, wishing to perform for the common folk and compose songs based on firsthand experience. What would give a better firsthand experience than following the hero of Skyrim around?
The man's not a bad fighter either, so he would be able to pull his weight and get plenty of inspiration for his work. Sadly, Talsgar is quite content by himself, and it feels a little egotistical to suggest that he use you as a muse.
6 Old Orc

He's strong, honorable, and looking for the most spectacular death he can manage; what's not to love? The Old Orc can be found wandering Skyrim, often accompanied by the pummeled remains of wildlife that tried to challenge him.
The Orsimer man is getting on in years, being past marrying age. He feels that his time has come, but he wants to die in battle to please Daedric Prince Malacath. For this reason, he asks you to fight to the death. While death by Dragonborn on the side of the road is all well and good, there are probably far more impressive and memorable ways to go that he could find by traveling with you. Given the capacity for followers to get in the way, you'd still be the one to finish him off.
5 Erdi
Perhaps not what you'd immediately picture in terms of followers, Erdi is a maid who works 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in Solitude's Blue Palace. What she might lack in immediate experience, she makes up for in enthusiasm. Erdi💃 will often remark to you in interactions that she wants to become an adven🃏turer like you.
The young servant has idle ambitions of traveling the Kingdom and doing something a little more exciting than waiting on Jarl Elisif. She dreams about a hero coming to take her away; it would be nice to be able to give h🥂er what she wants. She might change her mind the third time a dragon set her on fire, of course.
4 M'aiq The Liar
M'aiq The Liar is a constant in Tamriel. Regardless of the era or what is taking place, you can always find a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:peculiar wandering Khajiit making comments on it. Apparently, it's an entire family line with the same name.
This fourth-wall-breaking feline can be found on his travels, spouting some eerily referential lines. Some can even be quite helpful. Sadly, conversations with M'aiq are usually short before he gets tired of you. Being able to bring him along on an adventure could potentially give you a whole new perspective on Skyrim if you believe what he has to say.
3 Sinding
They say a dog is a man's best friend. If that's true, then 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:surely a werewolf would be even better. Sure, they are cursed by a Daedric prince and will sometimes lose control and rip people to shreds, but nobody's perfect. One of these cursed individuals is Sinding, a man who has fallen foul of Hircine and needs to appease the powerful Daedra. If they don't, they will be permanently cursed with changing into wolfish form at random. He is the subject of the quest 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:'Ill Met By Moonlight'; at its e🥀nd, you can choose whether to kill or spare the wolf-ma🌟n.
If left to live, you may see more of Sinding wandering Skyrim, perhaps a good friend would have helped him reign in his bestial side, or maybe the two of you couꦕld caus𝕴e twice the carnage together if it were allowed.
2 Vex
Vex is one of the top thieves in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skyrim's Thieves guild. At least, that is what she tells you. In truth, you don't get to see an awful lot of Vex in action. You can find her at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Ragged Flagon in Riften, where she will give you ๊quests and warn you not to ꦡshow her up.
More opportunities for the Guild to work together would certainly make some of the quests interesting, and it would have been great to see how Riften's master thief goes about her trade.
1 🐷 A Sabre Cat
There is a small selection of animal or animal-adjacent companions out in Skyrim. Dogs, enhanced dogs, horses, trolls, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and Dwarven constructs, to name a few. There aren't a lot of options for the discerning cat person, though, aside from just playing as a Khajiit.
The solution? A sabre cat, a big danger kitten. They're extremely fluffy, potentially useful in a fight, and would give you far more barbarian credentials than showing up in town with a well-behaved hunting dog. Sadly, it's not to be. The closest you can get is just finding Kharjo in a bad mood.
