Where Do Sparks Come From?

Sparks come from Flame Shrines and Sanctums, which are scattered throughout Embervale. By interacting with the circular flame, you will receive Sparks. It's possible to get more than one Spark at a time while doing this, and all new Flame Shrines will have at least one Spark.

Flame Sanctums are large structures that you can enter, filled with various decorations and loot for you to grab. Flame Shrines, on the other hand, are small areas that are outdoors. You can also find loot around them, but the shrine itself is just a tiny little🅷 structure.

Where To Find Flame Shrines And Sanctums

Flame Shrines and Sanctums are both marked with the same icon, as shown above. This little flame icon will appear once you get close enough to the shrine or sanctum, and will remain on the map indefinitely.

So, where do you find these locations? We've marked a few on the map above, as well as listed these spots below; there are tons of shrines and sanctums around the map though. Overall, try to explore as often as possible; you never know when you may run into a Flame Sanctum in the midd༒le of the wild!

• West of Scavenger Camp With Mineshaft (Built into the mountainside)
• Directly east of Carpenter's Vault (south of Low Meadows Ancient Spire)
• West of Hunter's Vault (on the map, this appears above the Elixir Well icon)
• North of Low Meadows Ancient Spire (slightly below the Pillars of Creation text on the map)
• East of Mistbury Catacombs (within the mountainside)
• South of the Necropolis (to the west of the Farmer's Vault)
• South of Revelwood Ancient Spire (across Shroud-filled chasm)

To avoid visiting the same location twice, we suggest putting a marker down on shrines and sanctums that no longer contain a Spark.

What To Do With Sparks

As mentioned earlier, Sparks are primarily used to strengthen the flame of your Flame Altar. For examp🉐le, to upgrade the flame to level four, you will need ten S🍷parks.

Overall, it's important to grab the Sparks 🐟from any shrine or sanctum that you see. If you don't need them at the moment, you can save them in a chest. When the time comes, you will have enough Sparks 𒉰on hand.
