Epic Chef features some random events as the days progress but seemingly not ones that are scheduled. One such event that is incredibly easy to miss is the mini carnival that sits atop the grassy knoll area above the opening area docks. The only way to know about this is if you hear the party sounds or happen to walk up ther🔯e.
This carnival features a bunch of NPCs having a fun time, enjoying food and drinks, chatting, and playing some game༺s. You can even take part in a couple of the games such as hitting a bell with your hammer and throwing a knife at a pump༒kin. It's a fun little bit of world-building that you could completely pass by.

In order to find this deep forest area, head towards the gate to the city and make a right across the grass. By doing this you will see a glowing yellow portal-typꦯe thing. Upon interacting with it, you are taken to the deep forest zone.
