The Epic Games Store is adding the aptly named "Epic Achievements" system to select games starting next week. Epic Achievements work in a similar fashion to those seen 🅰on other platforms, letting you earn XP with each unlocked achievement and climb to new ranks.

While The Epic Games Store already includes♔ "Developer Achievements," Epic is hoping this revamped ꩲsystem will offer more utility to players – and offer more dynamic features not previously seen on the storefront. The rollout of Epic Achievements will begin next week with the following games:

  • Rocket League
  • Hades
  • Pillars of Eternity
  • Kena
  • Zombie Army 4
  • Alan Wake Remastered

Epic also mentioned "more" games are on the way, so stay tuned for furt𝕴her details and achievement rollouts.

Achievements will be grouped into four categories based on their difficulty and XP value, and the ultra-rare Platinum Achievement will be "awarded upon earning 1000 XP in a game." Here's how much XP you'll get for each in-game Achievement:

  • Bronze = 5-45 XP
  • Silver = 50-95 XP
  • Gold = 100-200 XP
  • Platinum = 250 XP

ꦚ to a handful of popular games, although more are expected to implement the system in the coming weeks and months.
