Those who have picked this game up have either loved it for how intense it can get or uninstalled it for how unfair this game can feel. It is true: Tarkov is an incredibly unforgiving game that can seem unfair at times. There are ways to make this game less frustrating, however. Plenty of systems exist to help players take out geared Scavs and PMCs. You don't need to be a crack shot like Shroud is to be good at this game. Here are the 10 things you need to know before starting Escape From Tarkov.
10 This Isn't A Battle▨ Royale
Footage of this game on Twitch or YouTube might make Tarkov seem like a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Battle Royale title. ꦕWhile it has a 💜few mechanics and systems from those games, they couldn't be further apart.

Yes, players can loot items off of other people's corpses and earn♕ better items, but that's where the similarities end. You are going to lose everything you earned. Someone will kill you that you can not see and take your items. Players will kill you in a single bullet while they take dozens due to their armor. This is Tarkov.

When you begin Tarkov, you might notice that you have pouches, a vest, backpack, and an Alpha Container. Players who purchased the "Edge of Darkness" version of Tarkov will have a larger Gamma Container instead.
This Alpha Container persists after the death of your PMC, but you can only bring the Alpha C🐓ontainer on PMC raids. This 2x2 area is enough to keep keys or essential items in, so utilize it whenever you can. If there's a quest that needs a certain 1x1 or 2x2 item, put it in your Alpha so it won't be lost on death, guaranteeing completion of the trader quest.
6 Run Scav Runs Whene✨ver Avai🎃lable
While the Alpha Container can help minimize collateral on death, nothing can beat the potenꦇtial gains of playing as a Scav character.
If your PMC is low on health, do a Scav run. If your Scav is available to play and you want to learn a map, do a Scav run🍰. If you have a Scav available, do a Scav run. Seriously, Scavs have no risk tied to them due to their lack of PMC gear. You can play as recklessly or defensively as you want, and the Scav NPS—as long as they aren't provoked—won't be hostile towards you. Use this to your advantage and lure players to Scav bosses or ambushes, stealing all of their loot when killed. It's eff♑ectively free money.
5 🧔༺ Use The Flea Market
Players who reach level 5 can access the Flea Market, Tarkov's take on an auction house. Players can purchase nearly everything they need from other players. It can range from quest items to new guns and armor 🍬for your next raid.
Since nearly everything can be sold on here, valuable items that traders miꦜght not want can be sold here instead. CPU's, Milk, gun stocks, or nearly everytܫhing you can think of can be listed here. If there is a quest you need to finish but can't find the item for, go on the Flea Market and buy it. If you need ammo or a better helmet, buy it on the Flea Market.
4 ℱ Learn Customs
Customs is one of the maps players can loot and PvP in. Most of the beginning trader quests involve doing things on Customs, so it's important to learn this 💧map like the back of your hand.
Maps exist online that help with locating valuable loot and extraction points. Going offline to learn Scav spawns and the general layout is 🐎also a great idea. This map has plenty of chokepoints and hot spots to kill others, but it also has enough methods of navigating through it that you are never truly forced to fight in crowded PvP hot zones. Decent starter loot and quest items are all over Customs, so the sooner you learn it the better.
3 ✱ Pace Your Shots 🐈
Guns in Tarkov have a large amount of recoil when fired in full a🐻uto, meaning you will have to swap your fire mode at longer ranges. Even then, you might miss your shots.
Do not spam bullets at the enemy. Instead, take half a second or a second to line up a shot on the enemy and then pull the trigger. You will see all the time. Helmets are not nearly as armored as chests can be, so aim for the face. If they have a really good helmet, you can also aim for the legs as they aren't protected by any armor in Tarkov.
2 Keybinds
This game has keybinds for sidestepping, leanin🌜g, slowly leaning, going prone, crouching, checking your magazine, inspecting your trigger, changing your movement speed...
It's a lot to take in, and even harder to learn when you die while learning how to switch your guns optics. Go into the options menu and simply check what kind of keybinds are in the game. Unlike some realistic shooters, there are no useless controls in Tarkov. Folding stocks is normally a gimmick, but you'll need to know it if you want to store more guns in your inventory. Blind fire sucks in nearly every video game, but it can offer unrivaled suppression in Tarkov while staying safe. Lea𓂃rn the controls as fast as you can.
1 Sound
Sprinting is louder than walking in nearly every video game, yet it rarely matters except for survival games or BR titles. Not in Tarkov. Making too much noise will get you killed.
Sprinting is incredibly loud in Tarkov, giving your position away from dozens of meters away. Walk when you possibly can, as it makes significantly less noise and doesn't drain stamina. Crouching makes even less noise, but you move much slower. Weirdly enough, walking at a moderate speed makes less noise than crouching and walking quickly. If you are walking on wood or through bushes, move as slow as you can if they're nearby enemies. Most importantly, learn to use sound to your advantage to pinpoint targets and get angles on entrances. With thi﷽s knowledge, you will be much more likely to win gunfights and survive.
