has doubled down on the recent rumors that Rocksteady’s next game is set to be based ꦍon DC’s Suicide ൩Squad.
Domain names first appeared on , registered by a company tied to Warner Brothers. Eurogamer says that they’ve heard that one domain in particular, “SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeLeague༺.com” is the current favorite for the final title of the game as well as a good indicator of what Rocksteady’s next game will be about.
Additional registered domain names included “GothamKnightsGame.com” and “SuicideSquadGame.com.” Gotham Knights is believed to the unannounced game from Warner Bros꧙. Montreal, which is rumored to be based on the ‘Court of Owls’ storyline.
According to Eurogamer, both games are set to be teased at the upcoming DC Fandom event this August. However, there isn’t expected to be more than a 🥃minor tease at most for the Suicide Squad game as it is not nearly that far along in its development.
It has been five years to the date since the release of Arkham Knight, which came out on June 23, 2015. There have been numerous reports of Rocksteady games that were canceled during their development, such as a Superman game. Still, rumors have linked Rocks𒉰teady and the Suicide Squad brand for quite a while now.

The idea of using the var💦ious vile villains of the Suicide Squad to clash with the Justice League is pretty tantalizing. How that would work gameplay-wise, considering the power discrepancy between the two teams, is intriguing.
Arkham Knight was well received at the time of its release, though there were crit𒉰icisms 🦹of its over-reliance on the Batmobile sections and the disaster that was its PC release.
Meanwhile, WB Montreal’s last big release was the Arkham series prequel, Arkham Origins. Not as beloved at the Rocksteady trilogy, it was even left out of the Batman Arkham Collection.
