Starting with Variks. The ex-warden has apparently shown up on Europa to warn the Guardians that the Fallen are amassing under a new leader: Eramis. She’s a Kell that has the power to wield Darkness just like the Guardians can, and her threat to humanity cannot be under🎀stated.
Fallen will be the main enemy type on Europa, but the Vex are also prowling about in the fr💜ozen wastes. The trailer gives tantalizing hints at a connection between the Exo--the race of robotic humans that can live for a very long time--and the evil Vex hive mind. Europa has long been known to be the birthplace of the Exo, and folks on the are already formulating theories that Vex technology somehow made it possible for Braytech to crea🅠te synthetic humans.
Besides the standard fight-scene alongside frames and a tank, Insurrection Prime (from🌳 the Scourge of the Past raid) also makes an appearance as either a༺ boss or possibly even a new enemy type.
Bungie didn't just let the trailer drop without any supporting material. The "" section of the Beyond Light website now has an interactive map that describes v🅰arious locations on the frozen moon. The Eventide Ruins is home to what remains of the Braytech colony, the Asterion Abyss houses the Europan Vex, and Beyond features a familiar Pyramid ship that is sure to factor into Beyond Light's story.
More info is getting teased about Beyond Light all the time, with last Thursday giving us news that Ghost Shells will finally become custo🎶mizable cosmeꦐtics. No long🐎er will we be forced to use that one Shell with Treasure Hunter and Guiding Light, as soon we’ll be able to have those same perks on whatever Ghost we want!
