Following on the success of the original Luigi's Mansion, Dark Moon was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2013. The game features a change to the me🔯chanics, no portraits ghosts, and several different mansions for 🌱players to explore. The game once again sees King Boo trying to exact revenge after he escapes his portrait. The gameplay offers a more mission-based structure instead of the free-roaming gameplay from the first entry in the series.

There are also more normal types of ghosts than in the first game, likely to make up for the removal of portraits. Below we have every ghost you will encounter in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon listed, along with how to handle them.

Creepers have the ability to turn into puddles or hang; if you walk on top or underneath of them, though, they will rise up, imprisoning Luigi. To get them to show themselves, you must vacuum them for an extended amount of time or use the dark-light upgrade.

Creepers can also split into smaller ghosts that can be vacuumed up immediately. These small ghosts can also𒅌 turn into puddles. Keep in mind that Creepers hav🌠e unlimited HP as long as they are stuck to the floor.

15 Gold Greenie 🀅

Gold Greenies and normal greenies have a different coloring. In addition, gold greenies will usually tr♔y to run from you instead of attacking. Slammers can be found in the Gloomy Manor and can appear in groups of three. These ghosts move at a slow speed and can clap thei🐲r hands to create a sound wave. The normal version of the Slammer has only 30 HP while the Strong Slammers have 150 HP. There is also a chained slammer that appears as a mini-boss ꦿwith a staggering 250 HP.

To defeat a Slammer, make sure to avoid their attacks and stun them as s𓂃oon as possible. In the ScareScaper, you can often find variants of the Slammer like the Beetle Whisper, who posses an extra attack and shield.

They will hurl objects at Luigi from where they are hiding in an attempt to scare him off. They also have a tendency to throw banana peels, attempting to make Luigi fall if he is chasing them.

There is a fa💛ster version of the hider that has 75 HP called a Strong Hider. Th💮ese will take a bit more skill to catch.

12 Gobbler

Gobblers can be found floating around the Haunted Tower. These ghosts have 100 HP and use goo to attack Luigi. If the player gets e♎ither hit by the goo or steps on it, then they will take damage. There is also a Strong Gobbler witജh a massive 300 HP. Luck🅷ily, this Gobbler is nothing more than a one-time sub-boss in the Crystal Quarry.

Sneakers are ghosts that prefer to skulk around in groups of three. The ghost first appears in the Old Clockworks and works to help take down Luigi with the help of the other ghosts. The Sneaker will sneak up behind Luigi to scare him. If the Sneaker is successful, Luigi will be briefly frozen🅺 with fear and open to attacks. Sadly, Sneakers are invisible and can be tough to detect.

You can look for strange🍸 dust, sand, or snow patches that appear when the ghost is moving toward you. The normal Sneaker has 25 HP while the Strong Sneaker has 50 HP.

10 Spirit Ball ꦓ

Spirit Balls are enemies that only hurt when Luigi runs into them. They can cause objects in a room to become invisible, and must be quickly vacuumꦯed up to restore objects to their normal sta☂te.

8 🃏 Shrewd Possessor

The Shrewd Possessor is the boss of the Secret Mine. He takes the form of face made out of ice to combat Lui💜gi. In the battle, he will run away from Luigi and use ice walls to protect himself. Luigi must use the bomb sled to hit t💧he ice walls, exposing the Possessor. Once he does, the boss will proceed to try to ram into Luigi a total of three times.

Dur🐬ing the time that the Possessor is directly attacking you, a bomb should be shot into its mouth. You will need to get him to eat three bombs in order to win the boss battle.
