Final Fight and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Street Fighter have been linked since the beginning. In fact, Final Fight was originally going to be a Street Fighter title. So then, it should come as no surp🅰rise that a number of n🐷otable characters from the franchise have now made appearances as playable characters in Street Fighter titles. But of this giant cast of Final Fighters, the question of who transitioned the most gracefully remains.
We are going to look at every single Final Fight character who has made a playable appearance in a Street Fighter title and rank them from worst to best. Though, if we are being honest, all the Final Fight characters bring something to the table, so "worst" doesn't mean "bad".
9 🌳 Rolento, Street Fighter Alpha 2 🔥
One of the primary bosses from the first Final Fight game, Rolento is a tricky, slick, and slippery character. He comes packing a brisk movement speed and moveset that has him bouncing alඣl around the stage. Rolento can be right up in your face, poking ♎you with his staff, and then the next moment be rolling backward.
Hi💜s other signature attacks feature him throwing knives in midair and hopping toward you with a flying strike. Needless to say, Rolento is everywhere all at once and seems to exist solely to pester his opponent. While some players may find fighting him frustrating, there is no question that he is a 🔴pretty unique character.
8 🍷 Abigail, Street Fighter 5 ꧑
This bruiser was the second to last boss in Final Fight. He is also Street Fighter's first Canadian character! While his truly disturbing grin is enough to have an unsettling effect on players, it is his hulking size that makes him such an intimidating foe. Abigail has attacks that reach incredibly far across the screen. He also makes giant characters, such as Zangief, look tiny in comparison.
Abigail's moveset is lifted directly from his Final Fight boss battle and translated beautifully in Street Fighter 5. This is maybe part of why Abigail is such a divisive character; if you don't know how to fight against him, he can feel like a boss fight. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Thi🌠s titanic character is sure to raise eyebrows, but we can ap♏preciate what he brings to the table.
7 Lucia, Street Fighꦑter 5
One thing you will notice when looking at all the Final Fight reps in Street Fighter is that the lion's share of them come from the first title in the series. Well, Lucia is here to break that trend. She is one of the protagonists from Final Fight 3. In fact, she is the first character to originate from Final Fight 3 to make an appearance since the release of that game.
Lucia comes packing a whole host of moves seen in that title: ranging from her tatsu-like tornado kick to her multi-kick special attack. Street Fighter 5 really did go above and beyond when translating these classic characters to the Street Fighter series. Lucia doesn't stand out in the same way that some of the other Final Fight transplants do, but she is another fantastically solid addition to the Street Fighter roster.
6 💙 Maki, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
Maki is barely eligible to make this list. She is exclusive to 168澳洲幸꧋运5开奖网:the excellent PSP port of Street Fighter Alph🐠a 3. However,꧑ while she has only made that one appearance, Maki is a great character who plays like a variant of Guy. She has his run comma𒈔nd attacks, but she also has her own unique flourishes, like her giant haymaker "Genko" attack.
Maki is a highly mobile character who helps promote a fast and furious tempo. Not that Alpha 3 is ever a slow-moving game, of course. We can only hope that we will see more of Guy's protege in a future Street Fighter title. She deserves better than to be trapped on an obscure handheld port.
5 ෴ Sodom, Street𒁏 Fighter Alpha
Easily one of the coolest bosses from the first Final Fight game, Sodom is a Japan-obsessed trucker. In Street Fighter, Sodom is a unique combination of a rekka character (like Fei Long) and a grappler (like Zangief). He has a ton of unique and interesting attacks, and he is always a threat.
It has been a while since we 🦹have seen Sodom in a game, which is unfortunate, as he is a very cool addition to the franchise. The hope is that with Street Fighter 6 we will see the return of this eccentric samurai truck꧅er.
4 🎐 Hugo, Street Fighter 3: Second Impact
Before Abigail completely destroyed our ꦐunderstanding of what it meant to be a "big" Street F𓆉ighter character, Hugo was the titan of the franchise. He is built around his incredibly potent throws, which are balanced by having a slow walkspeed.
While Hugo was a victim of the parry (having slow normals that were easy to parry) in Street Fighter 3, he really came into his own when he joined the cast of Street Fighter 4. His big beefy normals📖 were now valuable footsies tools. Hugo is easily one of the coolest grapplers in the Street Fighter franchise. Hopefully, we will see his return sometime in the near future.
3 Guy, 🎐Street Fighter Alpha
One of the primary heroes of Final Fight, Guy was a central protagonist in the Alpha games. He is a fast-moving, slick ninja. Coming packed with chain combos, Guy is able to string his normals together in a way that doesn't typically work in a Street Fighter game. The quirk seemingly exists to pay homage to how Final Fight itself played.
Guy is among the more popular characters in the franchise, and it isn't hard to see why. He has a super cool design and a slick playstyle. Without a doubt Guy is one of the best Final Fight characters in the Street Fighter series. He may just be one of the best characters. Period.
2 𝓡 Poison, St😼reet Fighter 4
If Poison had stayed the way she was in Street Fighter 4, she would have been lower on this list. However, with her appearance in Street Fighter 5, and with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:her new whip-based gameplay, Poison instantly became one of the best characters in the ༒franchise.
She represents one of those classic archetypes that has overwhelming strengths, but crippling weaknesses as well. At range, she is utterly devastating. She can consistently convert her normals into potent comb🌃os. She also has her most iconic Final Fight attacks. Meaning that she can flip around the screen with impressive agility. Poison is an absolute classic character and should be a mainstay of every Street Figh💃ter roster.
1 ℱ Cody, Street Fighter Alpha 3
Cody is the lead protagonist in Final Fight. He joined the cast of Street Fighter in Alpha 3. The twist was, Cody had fallen on hard times and had become an outlaw. He now slumped over, and his moveset primarily focused on playing dirty. Cody didn't have a fireball in Alpha 3, he threw rocks. He also hit like a truck. However, as of Street Fighter 5, Cody has found redemption. He's the mayor now, baby.
And with his newfound position, Cody has returned to his classic Final Fight moveset! He has literally every single attack he had in Final Fight. He still has a few of his Alpha 3 tricks, of course, but he has so much new stuff that he is almost a new character. This is a beautiful depiction of the character's struggle. For this reason, and many more, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cody♏ is an absolutely classic character.
