And with a Switch Online subscription, yo⛄u can g🍰et a taste of just a few of those many games. But even a handful is quite a lot compared to just how many games those consoles had.

While the Sega M👍ega Drive is also available on the Switch, it's fairly limited in comparison and 🤪is rarely updated, so we've decided to exclude it from this list.

6 GameCube

Added fresh and exclusive to the Switch 2, the GameCube emulator launched with a humble set of just three games. These included Soul Calibur 2, which had L๊ink as a fighter, and Link's first cel-shaded adventure in The Wind Waker. Not quite the version people were looking for🍌, but still great to get the original. There's also F-Zero GX, which probably has even less chance of ever appearing in a new form.

It's obviously quite limited at the moment, but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:we can only expec🐈t it to grow with time. The GameCube did have one of the smaller libraries in Nintendo's h𓃲istory, however, so we also imagine it will remain somewhat limited, too. There are still plenty of great games trapped on the console though, so we hope the GameCube library on Switch 2 grows a whole bunch more.

5 Game Boy Advance ﷽

The successor to the original Game Boy and releasing after the original Game Boy emulator on Switch as well, the Game Boy Advance comes with a total of 25 games at the moment. This is of course a massive increase over the GameCube, though still only a miniscule amount of the full Game Boy Advanc♌e's library.

There are some stellar games filling it out though, from Nintendo's own big hitters like Metroid and Zelda, and some of the amazing but lesser-known titles like Golden Sun. It's even got some of the Pokemon Mystery 🍌Dungeon games, which boosts it in the rankings pretty significantly. It is mainly Nintendo developed and published titles though, so you won't get much in terms 🐎of third-party releases.

4 🍸 Nintendo 64

The N64, despite being beloved now for the incredible library of games it made, was not the same massive success at the time. Thankfully, that had no real impact on it appearing gon the Switch Online service, packed with some of its most iconic games, from Mario 64 to Ocarina of Time. There's Killer Instinct and Banjo-Tooie. Ther🐽e's Harvest Moon and GoldenEye. There's Sin and Punishment and plenty, plenty more. Even for a relatively small library, it has a nice variety of games beyond just the Nintendo classics, and gets to show off so many of the great games from the N64 era, not just the most memorable ones.

3 Game Boy

The Game Boy stands to this day as one of the best-selling games in history, and kicked off the worldwide suc𝓡cess of handheld consoles. With the Switch feeling like an evolution of that with its hybrid stylings, the Game Boy feels like a perfect fit. Not having to worry quite so heavily on the sun shining right on you is a big help, too.

With 39 games in total, the Game Boy emulator on Switch has one of the larger libraries in general, and comes with a plethora of great games, too. There are the obvious entries like Metroid and Link's Awakening but even some Castlevan🉐ia and Mega Man. Sure, there's none of the biggest Pokemon games, but that's expected.

2 SNES

80 Games Total, Including 7 Separate Enhanced Editions

While the NES is where Nintendo began to build its audience and lay the foundations for its most popular series', the SNES is where those games began to really shine. While some NES games can feel somewhat hard to get into no🍸wadays, so many SNES games feel comparatively modern, and the SNES emulator on the Switch is evidence to that.

We have Nintendo's own games, such as t🤡he original Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Super Mario Bros. There are the other well-known titles, like E🔯arthbound, Kirby, and Donkey Kong. And then there are the more obscure entries. Solomon's Key, The Immortal, SCAT, and the little known Tetris. That said, even among the many less-known entries, there is still the big ones to keep you plenty occupied.
