In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Princess Peach: Showtime, eac🌞h level sees Peach wear a new costume - or ensemble, as the game calls them. Every ensemble comes with unique powers and different enemies, including fresh ways to tackle combat scenarios as well as some 🍨levels that are entirely non-combat. We've ranked all ten ensembles Peach can get her hands on so she can always look her most dazzling.
We're ranking here based on h♛ow enjoyable each Peach is to play, h🍰ow unique their gameplay and levels are, and aesthetic value.
Dashing Thief
It's not so much that Dashing Thief Peach is bad to play as, although Ninja Peach does offer a more interesting take on stealth gameplay. Mostly, it's at the bottom of the list because 🐈Dashing Thief Peach is not a thief at all. She spends all three levels instead trying to catch thieves, and this runs into another clash - Detective Peach does this better too. While it is a stylish recreation of detective noir, the ideas here are a little too messy. Often you're zipping to hooks with your claw gun with no real idea of where you're heading or why.
Mighty
Part superhero, part Power Ranger, part anime space warrior, Mighty Peach has some of the most colourful levels. Unfortunately, too♉ many of its sequences have the screen scrolling past you while enemies appear in awkward positions and make you feel more puny than mighty. Combat is a little one-note compared to other Peach costumes, and the rest of the levels don♏'t cover that deficit. Its bonus level is the best thing about it, and that just shows how little it capitalised on its potential.
Detective
De🥂tective might be better at crime solving than Dashing Thief, but it's still not very complicated. It's admirable that there are a few different non-combat ensembles for Peach to try, but Detective offers bland mysteries that don't hold up to even the simplest of scrutiny (one mystery is solved when they realise a brick wall is actually a curtain), and has no challenge in deduction, and therefore no fun. The combat levels test you, but Detective Peach's puzzles stay at beginner level the whole way through.
Mermaid
Mermaid Peach seems like a perfect match, but the mixture of rhythm mechanics doesn't quite work here. Swimming along and controlling fish could be interesting, but the puzzles are as obvious as the detective ones, while the final concert can be too frustrating. You need a perf♐ect score for the Sparkle Gems, but if you fail you need to start the whole level over. Also loses points for abandoning the 'it's a play' theme of the game to take you underwater with real fish.
Kung Fu
Kung Fu is the last ensemble you unlock, so you'd expect it to offer something a little different. Unfortunately, it's mostly just a standard combat attire, and since it borrows from a lot of classic Asian cinema, there's a tonal clash with Ninja Peach too. While there are significant difference🙈s between the pair, Kung Fu arriving so late in the game and then not feeling all that new counts against it. Swarms of enemies fit the theme, but they stand around waiting to🌺 be hit too often making it feel too basic.
Ninja
Ninja Peach is a solid costume, and suits its place in the middle of the list. Though it is a little better than Dashing Thief and Kung Fu, in some ways due to the combination of those ideas, that doesn't change the fact it is still very similar to two other options. ♌Add in the overly forgiving guards that undercut the range of stealth options, and you'll find yourself in the middle of the pack.
Patissiere
Patissiere Peach deserves a lot of credit for creativity. While many of these costumes offer 𒀰fairly standard platforming with a few different mechanics or aesthetics, Patissiere Peach is by far the most unique outfit here. All of her levels are about baking, which means either decorating cakes with well-aimed icing, or speed baking the best sugar cookies in the land. If it went a little more Cooking Mama instead of repeating these two ideas with increasing difficulty, it might have earned a medal place. There is another peaceful costume still to come, but of the pure 'no violence' ensembles, Patissiere Peach takes the cake.
Figure Skater
Though technically not entirely non-combat, Figure Skater is the only 'peaceful' ensemble to outshine Patissiere Peach. You can damage foes by performing tricks or jumps near them, but it's really more of a rhythm game than anything else. Figure Skat♛er Peach glides gracefully, and of all the costumes this one feels as if it suits her the most - but it uses the same boss for each level, and that kicks it down into third for repetitiveness.
Cowgirl
Despite being so action-packed, there aren't too many Wild West games. That makes Princess Peach: Showtime one of the best games in the genre in modern times, as Cowgirl༺ Peach races through these levels chasing down trains on horseback and avoiding shooting bandits. The lasso ജattack doubling as a throwing mechanic gives these levels a lot more depth in combat too - just not quite enough to be Peach's number one outfit in Showtime.
Swordfighter
Swordfighter Peach is the icon of Princess Peach: Showtime, and with good reason. The Count of Monte Cristo-style castle scenery, the haunted knights, and Peach's slow-motion dodge all burst with a sense of character often absent in some of the other costumes that use generic 🥀versions of their most obvious tropes.
In a way, it's a shame there are so many costumes, as a greater focus on the most effective ensembles could have helped the best ones - like Swordfighter - grow even more complex and offer longer, more involved levels. As it is, Swordfighter Peach is the pick of the lot, and it's easy to see why it's🧔 the first one the game introduces you to.

Princess Peach: Showtime is a Nintendo Switch exclusive that finally thrusts the Mushroom Kingdom's leading lady back into the spotlight. Tasked with taking down the Sour Bunch which has taken over the Sparkle Theater, Peach will assume various roles and accrue all sorts of different powers as her battle against the villainous group progresses.
