As Pokémon continues to grow as a franchise, Game Freak has consistently pushed the boundaries of their games' mechanics, inventing new types, abilities, and moves each gener⛎ation. One of the said moves is Psyshock, a Psychic-type move introduced in Gen V, which has existed as TM03 ever since.

An unconventional move similar to Psystrike, Psyshock utilizes the attacking Pokémon's Specialও𒁃 Attack and the opponent Pokémon's Defense when calculating damage. However, Psychock is affected by Light Screen, as opposed to Reflect, and will activate Mirror Coat instead of Counter. With 80 base power and 100% Accuracy, it's nothing to sneeze at.

Plenty of Pokémon in the D♏ex can🔯 learn Psyshock via TM, but only a select few Pokémon learn it naturally. Here are all the privileged Pokémon (and their evolutions) that can learn Psyshock by leveling up.

10 🦹 Drowze💛e & Hypno

Arguably one of Generation I's creepiest evolutionary lines, Drowzee and Hypno are two of the 14 original Psychic-type Pokémon from Generation I, and both got an update to their learnset in Generation V in the form of P💙syshock.

It's an ofte🐽n occurrence that Pokémon in the sam𝓰e evolutionary line will learn a specific move at different levels. This can sometimes encourage trainers to hold off evolving their Pokémon. However, both Drowzee and Hypno learn Psyshock at level 57, which is the second last move they will learn from leveling up (the last move being Future Sight).

9 Exeggutor (& Alolan Form) 💟

We can't get enough of tree Pokémon, and Exeggutor is no exception. Whether it towers over us like the tallest palm tree or is short enough to hug, the "Coconut Pokémon" never fails to make us laugh with its ridiculous facial expressions. Its comedic nature and ꦆGeneration I nostalgia made it a perfect choice to bring back for Generation VII's Alola region.

Psyshock was added to Exeggutor's learnset in Generation V, being able to learn the move at level 17. Though the Alolan form of Exeggutor is Grass and Dragon-type,♚ it is still able to learn Psyshock, and at the same level as regular Exeggutor.

8 Spoink & Grumpig 𓆉

Introduced in Generation III, Spoink and its evolution, Grumpig, are the series' sole Psychic pig Pokémon. Spoink is known for its continuous bouncing and its precious pearl atop its head, obtained from a Clamperl. Grumpig, seen above participating in one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Team Rocket's many schemes, uses both i🌌ts black pearls and its dancing abilitiꦛes to gain an advantage in battles.

Spoink can learn Psyshock at level 38, while Grumpi💛g learns the move slightly later, at level 42. As is common with Psychic Pokémon, both Spoink and Grumpig benefit from having a Special Psychic-type move to take advantage of their Special Attack Stat, rather than their low Attack stat.

7 Lunatone

The oft-forgotten, non-legendary lunar Pokémon, Lunatone debuted in Ge💃neration III alongside Solrock, its sun-themed counterpart. Both referred to as "Meteorite Pokémon", only Lunatone has the ability to learn Psyshock by leveling up, leaving Solrock in its space dust.

In Generation VII, Lunatone was able to pack a punch right out of the gate, learning Psyshock at level 1. This changed with its inclusion in Generation VIII, with Lunatone now learning Psyshock at 𒈔level 20 instead. The only damaging Psychic-type move it can learn until then by leveling up is Confusion.

6 ꦍ 🌠 Gothita, Gothorita, & Gothitelle

A nod to Gothic lolita fashion fans, the Gothita line is one of two full evolutionary lines of Psychic Pokémon introduced in Generation V (th🍨e other being the Solosis line). Gothita, Gothorita, and Gothitelle were originally exclusive to Pokémon Black, while Solosis, Duosion, and Reuniclus were Pokémon White exclusives.

From Generation V to VII, the entire evolutionary line was able to learn Psyshock at level 25, useful for early game battling. Their inclusion in Generation VIII's Pokéde📖x saw this change, with Gothita, Gothorita, and Gothitelle able to learn Psyshock a🅷t level 20 instead.

5 🃏 🐽 Solosis, Duosion, & Reuniclus

The introduction of Solosis, Duosion, and Reuniclus added another triad of Psychic Pokémon in the series with a unique theme: cell biology. Reuniclus, in particular, is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:renowned Psychic-type in the franchise, for good reason. With the ability to use moves like Magic Guard, Calm Mind, and Recover, Reuniclus can throw a wren🌃ch into many opponents' plans.

As well as being Pokédex neighbors, the Solosis line shares several parallels wiꦉth the Gothita line such as the levels they evolve at, the ability ဣto learn Psyshock, and what level it learns the move: level 25.

4 🌳 Fennekin, Braixen, & Delphox

Amidst the fear of Game Freak introduc𓆉ing yet another Fire/Fighting starter Pokémon, in came Fennekin, Braixen, and Delphox to give us something unique. A sleek design based on Japanese folklore (where witches inherit their magic from foxes), this evolutionary line also boasts a duel Fire/Psychic type, allowing all three Pokémon to learn several Psychic moves, including Psyshock.

Fennekin can learn Psyshock the earliest, at level 31, while Braixen can learn it at level 36 (formerly level 34 in Genera๊tion VI). Delphox learns Psyshock the latest, at level 38, with it being its strongest Psychic move until learning Psychic at lev♐el 57.

3 Espurr

Espurr is one of Generation VI's adorable additions to the Pokédex, while still having considerable usage (and hiding extremely dangerous psychic power underneath its ears). Espurr played a big role in Pokémon X and Y's postgame sidequest, the Looker Bureau, where you encountered a girl named Emma and her🎶 Espurr named Mimi.

Previous to Generation VIII, Espurr was able to learn Psyshock at level 25, the same level it can evolve into its final form, Meowstic. However, Generation VIII changed this to level 33. Despite thi🍸s change, Psyshock is still the last move Espurr learns via leveling up.

2 🀅 Meowstic (Both Forms)

The next Pokémon on the list is E🍸spurr all grown up: Meowstic. This cat Pokémon from Generation VI has its ownไ spot on the list not just because of its cuteness, but due to its unique gender differences.

Female Meowstic (pictured on the left)🧔 learn more offensive moves, while male Meowstic (pictured on the right) learn more defensive moves. This applies to both moves learned while leveling up and moves that can be taught by Technical Machine. Fortunately, both male and female Meowstic are able to learn Psyshock at level 39. Previous to Generation VIII, Meowstic learned Psyshock at level 25, the same level as Espurr.

1 Tapu Lele

No list would be complete without an appearance from a legendary Pokémon. Tapu Lele is a Psychic/Fairy type legendary Pokémon and is the guardian deity of Akala Island in the Alola regioꦅn.

Tapu Lele is able to learn a handful of , including Psyshock at level 32. H♌owever, Tapu Lele can only be found on Akala Island at level 60, meaning it will no longer know Psyshock when encountered. Fortunately, going to any Move Tutor or Move Reminder will🌌 allow you to reteach Psyshock to Tapu Lele if desired.
