Nearly every Soulsborne game has one thing in common: at the beginning of the journey, they like to present you with an enemy who is technically beatable but is also almost guaranteed to kill you. These bosses are all tough. Not a single one is even close to easy. However, there are levels to this game, and some brutally difficult bosses are more brutally difficult than others.Related: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tiꦆmes We Thought The Boss Was FinishedWhether it be a fearsome, master swordsman who requires an advanced understanding o🧜f the game's parry mechanic you were just introduced to or a horrifying demon who has multiple arms and can kill you in one or two strikes, these bosses are no laughing matter. They are placed where they are to teach gamers one lesson and one lesson only: death will come for them.

7 🌃 Ogre, Dark Souls 2 🐻

Dark Souls 2, Ogre taking a swipe

So, for all intents and purposes, Dark Souls 2 is the only Soulsborne game that doesn't come with an introductory boss of some sort. However, you could argue that the ogre꧂ you first encounter in the Things Betwixt sort of fills that role. So, for the purposes of being thorough, we will include it here.

The ogre hits hard, but it has extremely telegraphed attacks. It is also vulnerable for a prolonged period of time after it slams down onto the ground. So yeah, the ogre is a tough enemy to face at the beginning of the game, but it isn't unreasonably strong. It is pꦿerfectly conceivable that a new player could beat the ogre on their first encounter. So, if you count the ogre as an introductory boss🧸 of sorts, it is the easiest in the series by a large margin.

6 I🌞udex Gundyr, Dark Souls 3

The player fighting Ludex Gundyr in Dark Souls 3

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls 3's Iudex Gundyr is, in a lot of ways, one of the most gentle introductory bosses in the franchise — he has highly telegraphed attacks. So, if you are paying attention, you will hav𝄹e obvious tells which will let you know when to roll. Moreover, many of his attacks leave him in a prolonged state of recovery, which makes for an obvious opportunity to inflict damage on ⛦him. However, he is very far from being an easy boss. He has an incredible amount of range with his spear, and that is only emphasized further when he transforms part-way through the fight.

Iudex Gundyr is genuinely one of the most💜 impressively designed bosses in the franchise, as he organically teaches♚ you how to play the game. Longtime Souls fans will probably beat him within a few attempts. Moreover, if you start with firebombs, you will have a tremendous leg up on Gundyr. Overall, he is still a very difficult boss, but it feels like he is the best example of an introductory boss who serves to teach you the game.

5 🎃 ღ The Asylum Demon, Dark Souls

Dark Souls: The asylum demon blocking the exit to the asylum

The Asylum Demon from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls can kill you faster than you would believe. He is more than capable of killing you from a distance using his giant mace. Or he can just slam his butt down, which is an attack that sends out a ♏shockwave of sorts. The trick is to get as close to this horrifying fiend as possible and stick around his backside. Attack until he starts to fly into the air, at which point it is time to flee. Needless to say, getting close to a boss so intimidating is not the first instinct of most fans. However, once you know how to fight The Asylum Demon, he becomes a little more manageable.

What makes the Asylum Demon more manageable than some of the other bosses in the Soulsborne games is that he is pretty similar to the Vanguard Demon. So, those who had already played Demon's Souls, are at a huge advantage. Moreover, if you are aware of his weaknesses, you can start the game wi💞th firebombs and completely trivialize your encounter with him. Make no mistake a💜bout it, though, The Asylum Demon is likely to murder you if you don't have foreknowledge. And if this is your first So♌uls game, then this boss is going to be particularly brutal.

4 ꦫ Vanguard D🐷emon, Demon's Souls

Demon's Souls Vanguard Demon

When this dude first reared his ugly head in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Demon's Souls, no one knew what to do. The Vanguard Demon is just so much more than the average player is capable of dealing with in the tutorial section of a game. And, of course, that is the point. Everyone died to the Vanguard Demon, and they were supposed to. It hits extraordinarily hard, it has incredible range, ♚and it is confronted long before you have the tools to deal with it.

That being said, as we have all been trained to deal with this style of boss, th🎐e Vanguard Demon doesn't quite strike the same level of fear in the hearts of players that it once did. That isn't to say that it is easy, because it isn't. It just isn't quite the absolute waking nightmare it once was.

3 💦 Werewolf, Bloodborne

Bloodborne Enemies first beast werewolf

While the werewolf enemy in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne is quite possibly one of the least interesting Introductory bosses you will encounter in the series, ꧙as it is just one of the more difficult enemies at the beginning of the game fought without weapons, it is absolutely a brutal battle. It probably won't come as a surprise to you that Bloodborne isn't Street Fighter. Generally, you aren't supposed to fight these horrifying monsters with your hands.

The werewolf has an alarmingly long each, and it is extraordinarily quick. Your punches, on the other hand, are slow and stubby. Is it possible to kill the werewolf? Of course. Is it a slow and painful fight, nonetheless? Emphatically so. You will struggle with werewolves long after you have acquired🍌 all your weapons and have leveled up, so fighting one unarmed is quite the tall order.

2 Genichiro, Sekiro 𒊎

Sekiro Genichiro Boss

Genichiro is a boss who will, almost certainly, kill most players who face him. It isn't that he is impossibly hard, or unfair, because the opposite is true. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:He is act𝔉ually a very fair introdu🐻ctory boss. The thing is, in order to beat him, you need to have a pretty good handle on the parry mechanic — the core of the game. This is a little brutal, as when you fight Genichiro for the first time you likely won't have the level 𒁏of expertise with that mechanic to actually win this bat♊tle.

Upon repeat playthroughs of the game, it is likely that you will defeat this foe. But, in the initial run, he is more than likely to absolutely destroy you. There also isn't a firebomb equivalent for easily defeating Genichiro. You just need to do it the good ol' fashioned way: with crisp, accurate parrying. That being said, as excellent as Genichiro may be, he is, unfortunately, tethered to Activision; a company tജhat has consistently behaved in a far f🧔rom excellent manner.

1 Grafted Scion, Elden Ring♑🃏

Elden Ring, Grafted Scion flinging their swords around

One thing you will notice about the majority of the Soulsborne introductory bosses is that they either telegraph their attacks, are slow, or are all the above. They always hit hard, and they tend to have impressive range, but at least their attack speed gives your brain time to process what is happening. That is not true for the Grafted Scion, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring's introductory boss.

This giant mass of arms and swords is extraordinarily hard to predict. They don't have those oversized attacks with long recovery animations to lean on. Instead, it is hard to see when you are even supposed to approach them, gജiven their flailing. Oh, and it will kill you with a few swipes. It is a brutal, brutal fight. One very few people are likely to beat the first time they encounter it. Welcome to Elden Ring!
