It also cleverly incorporates the GamePad and gyroscope controls in a way that isn’t tedious. It’s a great way for a new audience to experience one of the more ambitious Zelda games that’s only more recently gotten its due.

The 3DS title, Tri Force Heroes, takes its cues from Four Swords Adventures as it features cooperative play with three different versions of Link. It's a successful take on the idea and it’s a shame that more hasn’t been done with the multiple Link design. Tri Force Heroes also functions as a sequel to A Link Between Worlds, which means that it's also part of A Link to the Past's chronology.

It's a very fun Switch game that could paint a strong future where Zelda blends with more indie developers.
2 Link's Awaken🐭ing (2019)
Nintendo has never been one to overlook their handheld department and as a result there are some very satisfying Legend of Zelda games that people have never gotten a chance to experience because they've been locked away on variations of the Game Boy. The recent remake of Link's Awakening gorgeously updates the Game Boy title for a new generation with an adorable new look and tons of new content. Now the Switch just needs to get around to remakes for Oracle of Ages and Seasons.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was only recently announced by Nintendo, but it's already set to be released before the end of the year and looks like it could be one of the most entertaining titles of 2020. The game pairs together the kinetic action-oriented gameplay of the original Hyrule Warriors, but combines it with the characters and lore of the Switch's Breath of the Wild. Age of Calamity actually acts as a prequel to Breath of the Wild and it will allow players to contro🥀l the Legendary Champions, in what should be an extremely fun experience.
