168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Biomutant is fast approaching, and developer Experiment 101 has been filling the weeks leading up to launch with a constant stream of info for their upcoming open-world game. Trailers, gameplay demos, and helpful tweets have all revealed more and more of Biomuta𒁃nt’s many systems and mechanics so there might not be too many surprises come release day.

That said, it can be hard keeping track of all the latest news surrounding Biomuta♑nt, so we’re to helpfully compile everything we know about Biomutant into one handy place. You’re welcome, by the 🌼way.

If you’re looking to stay spoiler-free, this is where you should click away. For those looking to hit the ground runn🍬ing when Biomutant arrives on May 25, read on.

The World

Before we get into any of Biomutant's many mechanics, we should first set the stage for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Biomutant's world. Biomutant takes place on a post-apocalyptic Earth where humans have died out and been replaced by little furry critters that walk around on two legs, swing swords, shoot guns, and know Wung-Fu. These intelligent,🌳 vaguely marsupial-looking creatures have formed six tribes that are all fighting over the Tree of Life--a giant tree that dominates the center of Biomutant's world. Three tribes defend the Tree of Life, while three tribes wish to destroy it to bring about a new age.

Each of the six tribes corresponds to one of the six races that you can choose at character creation (more on that later). Regardless o♛f which tribe you align yourself at the start of the game, you can decide which tribes to help i🍨n order to progress Biomutant's story. Gain a tribe's favor and you'll get access to special weapons, armor, mounts, and learn their particular brand of Wung-Fu.

Depending on which tribe you decide to help can have grave consequences for the Tree of Life and your own Aura, which is Biomutant's morality/reputation system. Tribes that want to defend the tree are considered to have a "light" Aura, while destructive tribes have a "dark" Aura. Your particul🌊ar alignment on this light/dark scale can open up or close off conversation options with certain NPCs, so manage your Aura carefully.

There are seven confir♚med biomes in Biomutant's world ranging from lush forests to barren deserts. Certain biomes will also have hazardous areas that will require elemental resistance to traverse without taking damage--more on that in the character creation section.

Finally, the Tree of Life is defended by four "World Eater" bosses. These fights will have a certain Shadow of the Colossus feel and also tie into Biomutant's story (as well as reward great 𒉰loot).

Combat

After the world, the next big draw for Biomutant will be the combat. Nobody has been able to get hands-on the game to try it out personally (at least, not yet), but from w✨hat we've seen in the extended gameplay trailers, Biomutant plays like a combination ꧑of Devil May Cry and Max Payne.

On the Devil May Cry side, your Biomutant character will be able to swap between ranged and melee combat seamlessly, and melee combat will have a combo system depending on your personal brand of Wung-Fu and your weapon. On the Max Payne side, there's both bullet time and dramatic diving while spraying y꧅our enemies down with bullets.

From 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:what we've seen in trailers, y💛ou'll also have access to radial menus to perform special abilities or use items. Consumables include health potions, Ki boosters, adrenaline salves, and more, with each item being assigned to one of eight slots. Special abilities get mapped to your XYAB buttons (or the shaped buttons if 🐲you're a PlayStation gamer) so that you can throw out Spark Balls whenever you have the energy for it.

There's one other thing to Biomutant's combat worth mentioning, and that's Super Wung-Fu. As you fight, you'll build up your Super Wung-Fu meter until you can unleash your ultimate attack, which in the combat trailer was🔯 actually four different attacks that you could c💞hain together: Turtle Strike, Ground Slam, Klonk Bonk, or Rapid Shot. It seems like these moves might be customizable in some way, but we don't know the specifics yet.

Transportation

via THQ Nordic

Biomutant's world will be a large o🐽ne, but Experiment 101 has spared no expense in letting players traverse this world in almost any way imaginable. Yet another radial wheel will let the player assign up to eight different mounts, and those mounts can get... weird.

So far, we've seen a giant mechanical hand that you can right around on, a huge mecha, a hot air balloon, a submarine, a small hovercraft, a horse, a backpack chopper, a jet pack, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a floating suitcase (that💎 might actually be a form of telekinesis and not some sort of magic luggage), a giant flying bat, a glider, and a goddamn shark.

Some of these mounts can be found in the wild, some are awarded by aligning with certain tribes, and some might even be bu🌊ilt. Some will be required to let you get around certain biomes, some can be used in combat, and some are just for fun.

Classes, Races, and Character Creation

via THQ Nodic

This one is a big one, so we're not going to waste any time. There are six races, six classes, and six🏅 primary attributes th🦩at affect your character's stats.

We'll start with the attributes, which are Vitality,𝔍 Strength, Intellect, Charisma, Agility, and Luck. Vitality controls your health and armor values. Strength determines your melee damage in combat. Intellect affects your Psi power, Ki energy, and Ki energy regeneration. Charisma makes it easier to barter with NPCs and get better value during trades. Agility increases your movement speed, and Luck improves both your chance of scoring critical hits and improves your chance of finding rare loot.

The six races, or "Breeds," are Primal, Dumdon, Rex, Hyla, Fip, and Murgel, and each emphasize different attributes. Primal is considered the generalist Breed that's decent at everything. Dumdon have more health, deal more damage with melee weapons, and have more Ki energy for Psi abilities, but less energy regen and critical chance. Rex have more health and better Psi-power stats, but less Strength. Hyla have more armor a✤nd health, but less Ki power and energy. Flip have much less health, armor, and melee damage, but way more Ki energy, power, and energy regen making them ideal Psi users. And finally, the Murgel are the traders of Biomutant with a better Charisma and Luck, but slightly reduced crit chance.

Don't feel too locked into picking a particular race, because you'l🍌l be able to mutate your character during Biomutant's initial setup so that you can emphasize one stat ov💞er all others. This mutation system essentially takes stat points away from everything else to boost a single attribute.

At the same time, whatever mutation you choose will also have🌄 a pronounced effect on your character's appearance. Boost Vitality and your character will appear squat and dumpy. Boost Strength to appear big and buff. Or pick Charisma to give your character aꦰ big smile.

Your character's inherent resistances are also determined during character creation by selecting one of four elements: Heat, Cold, Radioactivity, and Biohazard. Certain areas will be hazardous to your health, and the higher🌌 your Biohazard resistance, the more time you can spend in a poisonous area before taking damage.

Finally, we arrive at Biomutant’s six classes. These classes determine your starting equipment and also certain passive abilities. Starting with Dead-Eye, 🐻this class starts with a sword, a pistol, and the Perfect Reload ability which provides for instant reloads and a 20% damage buff after reloading a ranged weapon.

Biomutant

The Sentinel class has a 10% armor bonus thanks to the Toughness perk and comes armed with a pike. The Saboteur has the Twin Silver Grip passive that allows them to dual-wield one-handed melee weapons. They ꦛcome armed with two sai and a pistol.

The Psi-Freak is the obvious Ki-based class. You get increased Ki energy regeneration and the ability to throw Spark Balls right away, but only come armed with a single pistol. The Commando is the ranged weapons class with a straight 10% damage buff on all ranged at♍tacks. Commandos start the game with an as🦋sault rifle.

There's also a sixth class available for those that pre-order Biomutant called the Mercenary. Like the Saboteur, Mercenaries seem to be able to dual-wield m👍elee weapons and come armed with two swords, this time a katana and wakizashi.

Crafting and Loot

via THQ Nordic

You didn't thinꦚk Biomutant could be an open-world RPG witho𒁃ut loot, did you? There's a ton of loot to be found or made in Biomutant thanks to an .

Armor can be slapped to your torso, legs, main hand, off-hand, shoꦛulders, and back to boost your armor value, health, Ki energy, energy regeneration, crit chance, and resistances. Armor quality is rated out of five stars with rarer pieces getting a higher rating. Weapons have a similar rating system based on rarity and damage performance, which considers armor♍-piercing and critical values as well as fire rate for guns and swing speed for weapons.

Now let's get to crafting. Weapons can be crafted using five ℱbase materials: gears, wood, digital chips, plastic, and rubber. You can break stuff down into base components or find these components in the wild.

Each weapon, either melee or ranged, starts with a ba♏se. For ranged weapons, you then add a magazine, handle, stock, muzzle, and an optional mod slot. Melee weapons have a base, handle, and add-ons. Armor can take add-ons too in order to improve their defensive stats or add certain effects.

Crafting can be done anywhere on the fly, although t𝔉here are certain upgrades that can only be applied at a crafting table.
