Summary
- Fable fans think they've spotted a sign that property management will return in the latest trailer.
- If so, fans are really, really looking forward to being evil landlords again.
The Fable games were full of fun little mechanics that helped you shape your character's morality. Famously, being a vegetarian made you a better person, and farting in too many faces put you on the path to growing devil horns.
But the feature that is perhaps most fondly remembered is that Lionhead took the stance that landlordism is evil. If you buy up property and let it out, jacking up the price will decrease your moral standing (just as it does in real life). Now, fans want this feature to return - and they believe that they've spotted the first signs of it in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the latest trailer.
New Fable Trailer Suggests That Property Management Is Back
As you can see in the screenshot, that sign outside of a house in the trailer looks an awful lot like the signs we'd use to manage our properties in the original Fable games. So, fans are already planning their playthroughs, and how they'll manipulate the property market for their own ends.
"Buy all the property in Albion. Raise the taxes to %100. Use (a small portion of) the profit to donate to the temple of light and wash away all your sins," says Reddit user Obeserecords. That might be the most RPG sentence I've read in a while, but goddamn, it always works.
"Slum lord 4!!! Let’s gooooo!" rejoyces alexander12212. True enough, Fable 3 even made it so you can let your homes fall into a state of disrepair - and still charge rent on them. As long as the house quality didn't fall to zero percent, you were fine.

The Inside Story Of Fable 3, The Game That Broke Its Creators' Hearts
Former Lionhead staff walk us through the highs and lows of Fable 3🏅's development - the threequel made in just 18 months.
User juliankennedy23 has even more sinister plans: "Look as long as I can have a wife in every town. And raise rent on the poor until I grow devil horns... I will be happ൩y."
So, it looks like a lot of fans are hoping that Fable📖 will let them be evil. This is likely to be the case, given how much of a big deal morality was in the original trilogy.
The latest trailer definitely gave us a better look at Fable, but it still didn't answer many of our questions. For starters, it's unclear what the story will be this time, or where this takes place in the timeline. Or if the events of the first three games are canon. Still, it's launching next year, so we'll likely get some answers closer to the time.
