Looking for a unique Pokémon experience? Pokémon Clover is a fanmade hack of Pokémon Firered𒉰 featuring 386 original Fakemon - each with unique typing, move pools and abilities. The game is a marvel of modern fandom collaboration - devel🅰opment took four years and over 40 contributors volunteering their time to make this meme of a game. According to its the game offers over 70 hours♔ of playtime, and is “sure to bring you moments filled with happiness, frustration, laughter and suffering!”
The game is a parody of 4chan culture; Pokémon Clover is a reference to the 4chan clover. Pokémon Clover’s Pokédex is full of strange entries - some vulgar, some politically incorrect, and some surprisin🏅gly obscure. Here are ten of some of🌳 the most notable entries in the Cloverdex.
10 Pikotton - The Infa🃏🅷mous Pikachu Clone
Every Pokémon game has a “Pika-clone” - In Ruby and Sapphire, it was Plusle and Minun. Diamond and Pearl had Pachirisu. Later came Emolga, Dedenne♋, Togedemaru and Morpeko. is a parody of this trend.
If there was merch for this game, Pikotton plushieꦗs would be on the rage. Its in-game Pokédex entry reads, “Pikotton are very popular pets ♈for children.” A jab at Pokémon’s monopoly on cute toys?
9 Nauಌseon - Tyrogue But Truly Poisonous ꦐ
The is one sick Pokémon - according to its Pokédex entry, “It roams cities at night, spreading disease.” Wꦐhy it needs to wear a surgical mask is unknown (someone needs to tell Nauseon that Poison-types can’t get poisoned).
While it’s hard🐼 to tell from firs🦹t glance, Nauseon is very similar to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tyrogue - it has two different evolutions⛦ that are determined based on its stats. If its Attack is higher than its Special Attack, it will evolve ꧃into . If the other is higher, it will evolve into . Both are pretty ♛terrifyi✅ng - and very contagious.
8 💛Narwhiz ꦜ- Based on The Bloop
The is one of Clover’s legendaries, which makes sense based on its real-world origins. Narwhiz is based on the Bloop, a cryptic low-frequency sound detected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. This sound’s discovery has sparked the imaginations of many cryptid-enthusiasts - what enormous creatu🙈re could possibly😼 make this sound? Something like Narwhiz?
Much like something that would make 🉐a bloop sound, Narwhiz’s Pokédex entry reads, “It came from the void of space and lives in the depths of the oceans. Sailors hear its call on mo⛦onless nights.” This Fakemon has certainly earned its “legendary” status - and it has the base 620 stat total to back it up!
7 Dreameme - Rongo Lango Brought T🌊o Life 🐟
Does look familiar? For those who grew up with a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PS1ꦦ, it might. Dre𒊎ameme is actually a creature from the game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Klonoa called Rongo Lango. While most of the Fakemon in Pokémon Clover are references to a joke or inspired by some piece of culture, Dreameme is literally jꦚust a character from another game. Not the most original, ✃but sure to stir up some sweet, sweet nostalgia for the 90s kids.
Its Pokédex entry reads, "’Le meme dream is real, he is strong, and h𝔉e is my friend.’ -Barack Obama, former President of the US.” This one of the most trolly entries of the Cloverdex, fitting for one of the most trolly of Fakemon.
6 Shiriman - Based On Real 💦Yokai
Yes, this is exactly what it looks like. is a one-eyed humanoid creature with an eye on its rear e𒁃nd. According to its Pokédex e𝓀ntry, it disguises as a person only to scare people when it reveals its secret eye.
Shockingly enough, this Fakemon was not simply the brainchild of the Pokémon Clover development team. It is based on an actual Yokai legend, known as Shirime. Just like in Clover’s Pokédex, the Shirime ambushes a samurai wandering around at night, only to reveal its butt-eye. Some things can never be un🔥seen!
5 💝 S♈paghefant - Eminem Reference
Hꦡey Pokémon fans, here’s something to deꦛbate. For or against food-based Pokémon? Thr🐎oughout the generations, Pokémon has introduced several creatures that often look like much better meals than actual fighters, such as Vanillite, Swirlix and Appleton. Some think edible Pokémon is weird, others think it’s adorable.
Spaghefant puts 🌳this debate to rest. This Fakemon also happens to b🥂e packed with pop-culture references. Its cry is a reference to Luigi saying, “Spaghetti!” in Hotel Mario. Also, its Pokédex entry references “Lose Your꧂self” lyrics by Eminem: “Knees weak, arms are heavy…”. Thisﷺ guy is the whole meme package.
4 Anonymouse - A Reference To 4Chan It🦩self
The is "enlightened by its own intelligence" according to its Pokédex entry. From head to🅷 toe, this guy is a parody of various internet culture stereotypes. Anonymouse wears a Guy F🎀awkes Mask, a known symbol for anonymity (hence the name "Anonymouse"). It wears a fedora, which is the most well-known symbol of this internet sub-culture.
Pokémon Clover at its core is a fangame made to represent 4chan culture. Anonyౠmouse captures this sentiment perfectly.
3 Mariguana
For something that would never, ever make it onto an actual Pokémon roster, it looks like it'd fit right in with the likes of Kecleon and Treecko. , along with the rest of its evolution line, is clearly based on a well known recreational drug. It's typing is Grass/Fire to represent its ability to "blaze it" while stil𝔉l being green. Its tail has a easily identifiable leaf on it, and it wears a beanie, which represents the "stoner" culture.
Mariguana's Pokédex entry reads, "With a bad case of the munchies, it'll ﷽eat anything it finds. It is prone to get distr𝓡acted, even during battle."
2 Unjoy
Cue the Lavender Town theme. Unjoy is a creepy, decapitated version of everyone's favorite Pokémon healer, Nurse꧋ Joy. This is easily the most disturbing entry in the entire Pokédex, one that is hard to look at without getting the heebie-jeebies. But more than a reference to the good nurse, this is a parody of the countless Pokémon creepypastas out there.
There have been countless Internet stories about glitchy, haunted Pokémon cartridges where dead versions of Pokémon appear. Pokémon Clover made these Pokémon nightmares into a real thing.
Fun fact: ౠits shiny form has a blue✅ hat and green hair, a reference to Officer Jenny in the anime.
1 Tunakking
To anyone familiar with early Youtube memes, is a reference to , a legendary meme that blew up the Internet in its heyday. In the music video, Daler Mehndi acts as several different elemental deities, shooting fire and causing earthquakes. Tunakking resembles Mehndi in the music video with similiar clothes, facial hair and his swirling flames around him. Tunakking's pre-evolution, Mehndior, is a reference to the singer's last ✅name.
His Pokédex entry reads, "Dholna, vaje tumbe val taar soode dil de pukar Aaja karle ye pyar." These are lyri♕cs to the song, and roughly t♏ranslate to, "Sweetheart, the strings of toomba, play. Listen to what the heart says. Come and love me, Sweetheart."
