Complete Marriage Guide: An Overview Of Romance In Fae Farm
In Fae Farm, although you don't have to go on dates or get married if you'd rather skip that aspect of a farming sim and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:focus more on the assorted skills or quests in the game, you've got the choice between several charming romance options in Fae Farm if you do decide to take a life partner! At time of publish, there are six base game marriage candidates in Fae Farm, and another three were addded in the Skies of Azoria DLC in June 2024.
Like in real life, the more you interact with your beloved, the closer you two become. If you have your sights set on someone, speak to them every day to gain the most affection the quickest way possible. Each day, you'll have the opportunity to give gifts to the single of your dreams. The item they want changes every day from a pool of things they like, and while they'll typically ask for the same list of things, the specific daily item is 🐟likely to be different.
As such, you'll only have that day to get them that item - the requested gift will bܫe different the following day.
Though you can only give them these specific gifts, and only when requested, you'll be able to accept love quests from potential partners to further your relationship a bit more for the day. They'll often request specific meals, seasonal ingredients, mining resources, or occasionally things 🦄outside these categories. You'll need to speak to them to acꦏcept the quest, speak to them again to give them the item(s), and speak to them a third time to complete the quest.
When growing closer to the romance candidates, you'll see your farmer cycle through a few different, progressively more serious relationship statuses with the romance candida🌳tes while dating in Fae Farm. You'll watch th🍌e relationship progress from:

You'll notice in the Romance tab that romance candidates progress separately from all the platonic friends you're making around Azoria. All romance candidates gain affection instead of friendship when you speak to them. You can still build the relationship each day, but just beware that there's no platonic option for the romance candidates - you're either actively dating, or they become "Old Flames" once y🀅ou marry someone else.
Go On Dates With Everyone
On the bright side, it seems nobody cares that you're dating around - the romanc🧸e candidates in Fae Farm never seem to mind, even if they see you with someone else! This means you can really socialize and see who you like best before settling down without f🅘ear of repercussion.
After speaking to a romance candidate a few times and seeing your relationship status change, you'll receive a letter in the mail asking you on a date. To accept, simply find the sender of the letter in town and select "Go On Date" from the menu. When you do, you'll be treated to an adorable visual novel-style cutscene of your farmer and that romance candidate out and about together in one of a feꦦw spots around town.
Your date will tell you stories and facts about themselves to let you get to know them better, and you'll often leave the date feeling noticeably closer to that romance candidate. There's one of these scenes for every level of your relationship with each marriage candidate in𝓀 Fae Farm, so feel free to exploreꩵ!
How To Get Married
Once you have your heart set on someone, marriage in Fae Farm is 💜fairly straightforward, although less involved than in other farming sims like it.
First, you'll need to progress to the "Getting Serious" rank, and have gone on the "Last Date" with your special someone. After both requirements have been fulfilled, you'll soon begin to notice the "Propose Marriage" option when speaking to them out and about in town. As soon as you select this option, the game warns you that marriage is serious, and you'll need to confirm your decision a f🙈inal time before your partner acc♍epts the proposal in an adorable little dialogue.
In order to get a marriage license, you'll need to give Mayor Merritt 10,000 Florins. Save up if you don't already have it on hand, and plan accordingly when you hand it in - your wedding will be the day after you pay the Mayor for the license. The next morning, you'll choose your wedding attire from a list of options. The town congregates in a short scene at Tow꧟n Hall, and Mayor Merritt pronounces you married.
After this, your partner moves into your house and will spend their time around the farm, now with Spouse as their social title when you speak to them. All other romance candidates will be listed as "Old Flames" from here out, and you can no longer go on dates with the other romance candidates.
There's an occasional bug where significan🐠t others go immediately to being your spouse before any wedding prep is complete, so just be mindful when proposing.
Can You Get Divorced In Fae Farm?
While there's no technical option to divorce in Fae Farm, you can clear a marriage instead by choosing to wipe your spouse's memory of the relationship. This can be done with any relationship💖 you'd like to revert to the Stranger status, regardless of if you're married. It's essentially an all-encompassing breakup tool.
To do this, go into the Relationships tab of the menu, the top right option with a Polaroid. Find the person whose relationship you'd like to wipe, and check your console's specific options in the bottom right corner of the screen to see which button exactly resets a relationship. The game warns you before you confirm your choice, and the relationship immediately resets to "Strangers" again.
This relationship wipe can be done with both romantic partners and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:townsfolk you're on a friendly basis with as well.
It doesn't always seem to work right, but when it does, you'll clear the title of Spouse, that character returns to the Str𒁃🌊anger status, and your old flings regain their former status from before you were married.

All Marriage Candidates, Locations, And The Gifts They Enjoy
In the base game, you'll have six marriage candidates in Azoria. Some of them don't arrive until after you've 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:finished the Saltwater Mines q♐uestline and 𓆏168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cleared the whirlpools from the harbor to allow ships to dock once again. Additionally, the Skies of Azoria DLC added three new romance options in the DLC realm of Skyvale, but they're only available if ﷽you have the DLC.
The majority of the Azorian romance options head ove༺r to the Inn early in the morning and late at night, hanging out in the center and left two rooms, so it's an easy way to sweep through and do a little flirtไing and gifting all in one convenient spot.
