Although you only have one color of each flower by default, there are a dozen color variants for each flower, the majority o𒁏f which can only be obtained by growing hybrid flowers. Our guide’s got whatཧ you need to grow the whole rainbow!
How To Grow Flowers In Fae Farm
You're first introduced to growing flowers in Fae Farm when you stop to talk to Rosalind at her flower shop in East Town, just across from Vera's potion shop.
She'll ask you to help her breed a unique hybrid flower that only grows in Azoria. When she explains, she tells you that leaving a space between two watered flowers may result in a hybrid flower growing between them.
She asks you to plant a red rose, leave space, and plant a white zinnia in order to help her create a pink flower between the two.
To do this, you'll need a few Flower Soil Beds. For each of these, you'll need:
- One Oak Log.
- One Silt.
- One Mulch.
Place the Flower Soil Beds together to encourage new flower groꦆwth, and be sure to leave an empty space between the two flowers to give them room to do so.
Hybrid flowers cannot grow between two parent flowers if there's not a vacant space.
Finish The Floating Ruins To Unlock The Remaining Flower Colors And Types
When you first arrive in Azoria, Rosalind will sell three flowers in different three colors. She has red roses, white lilies, and yellow tulip seeds for sale at her stall.
However, you'll notice that your Almanac lists several other colors of flowers that you can't make with these base colors. That's because you'll need to finish the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Floating Ruins to unlock new flowers.
Once you've finished the game's second dungeon and fully restored order to the Fae Realm, head to the marketplace over there and speak with Asphodel, whose stall is right b𓂃y the bridge to the Fae Realm Farm.
Not only does Asphodel sell all the base crop seeds you'll need for regular farming, as well as the three types of fertilizer, but they also sell blue hyacinth, green zinnia, and magenta trillium seeds.
These are entirely new flowers that can be taken to any of your farms and planted with the Azorian flowers to finish the spectrum of base colors.
Once you've got access to these flowers, you can begin creating your second wave of hybrids by mixing your new colors.
Buy Each Flower In One Color, And Breed The Other 11 Colors
As you may have noticed above, each of the two vendors 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:selling seeds in Fae Farm has one color for each flower on sale at their shops.
The trouble is, the Almanac lists that every one of the six flowers comes in every one of the 12 colors possible in Fae Farm. This means that you need to grow hybrids for the other 11 colors for each flower to finish that page in your Almanac.
To do this, you'll need to rely on specific combinations of genes to produce a new flower. When hybridizing flowers, the new flower will take on the type and/or color of either parent flower.
When you plant two different types of flowers in two different colors with a space between them, not only can the base colors combine to make a new color for one of the flowers, but you may also receive a different color for one of the base flowers, too.
For example, Rosalind's suggestion of breeding a red rose with a white zinnia can produce one of the following:
- A pink rose.
- A pink zinnia.
- A red zinnia.
- A white rose.
Follow the🐭 chart below for help creating all 12 color combinations in Fae Farm, and then apply these combos to all six flower types.
