While some farming sim titles stick to the realm of the real, ventures into the supernatural with magic, fairies, Sprites, and more to bring a mystical element to the genre. Your farmer arrives in A🎀zoria to find the region ravaged by natural disasters, and it’s up to them and their newfound magic to stop them.

With dozens of spells, potions, and resources that comprise the magic in Fae Farm, we wanted to offer a comprehꦉensive guide to magic. We’ve included all the potions and spells we’ve unlocked, as well as some tips to help you master your magic.

Updated on June 24, 2024: The Skies of Azoria DLC added a whole new batch of potions for you to brew up, so we're back to give our Fae Farm potions guide a fresh coat of paint and include everything you need to know about the new potions (and new ways to get them).

Magic And Potions, Explained

While it's pretty clear when you arrive in Azoria just how prevalent magic is here, your own introduction comes in Chapter Two, after you've finished meeting some of the more important townsfolk. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alaric the local wizard sends you a letter in the mail to begin the chapter, asking you to go to his house and speak with him about magic.

He's requesting your help getting rid of the thorns around town, which you may have already found are blocking access to parts of Azoria. You won't be able to get to further parts of the region until clearing the thorns. You'll need to bring Alaric some prepared meals and raw materials before he's willing to give you a new power.

The Steamed Mussels he's looking for can be prepared on a Cooking Fire using a Mussel you can find down at the Beach.

Once you've finished Alaric's quest, he asks you to wait until the following day to get started. When you wake up the next morning, you'll see a stylized cutscene of you and Alaric defeating the thorns. Not only does Azoria open up even more once the quest is complete, but you get to keep your magic staff once you're done!

Finish Dungeons To Upgrade Your Staff

In your Almanac, under the Magic tab, you may notice that there are several different magic staff silhouettes waiting to be unlocked. You don't purchase staff upgrades in Fae Farm, unlike 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your regular tools - your staff is powered up as you progress through the main story.

To learn them, you'll need to deal with the Sprites that have been causing all sorts of problems around Azoria. Every Sprite unlocks a new major spell, meaning your staff is upgraded periodically throughout Fae Farm's story, which you'll unlock by helping them out and making dinner, for the most part.

However, you can also buy or brew potions that offer temporary magic abilities to help you out in combat as you crawl 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:through the dungeons. These spells last for several real-time seconds, and they grant your farmer some temporary additional abilities like extra attacks or speed boosts. These potion bottles come in different sizes, too, with larger potions having a longer spell duration.

You won't start brewing your own potions until after finishing Saltwater Mines, so head to Vera's Shop in East Town to buy some potions until you c🅷an make them yourself.

Brewing potions in Fae Farm requires plenty of crops and forage processed in various ways as ingredients, so you'll need to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:invest some time in catching critters available between the realms, as well as putting effort into 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:growing a variety of crops. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Foraged goods like🧸 plants ꦅand mushrooms are cr𒁃itical as well, so be sure to grab whatever you've got space for in your inventory.

Get The Final Staff Upgrade From The Wisp Mother After The Scorched Caverns

Once you've finished the main story of Fae Farm by calming all four Sprites and returning peace to Azoria, you'll have unlocked all the staff upgrades given to you. However, there is one more staff upgrade available after you've helped Flammo in the Scorched Caverns - the Crystal Magic Staff. You'll need to buy the upgrade from the Wisp Mother's shop, but it's definitely not going to be cheap.

You'll need:

This final Fae Farm staff upgrade allows you to cast a beam on your third strike that blows across the screen and inflicts damage to any Jumbles in its path, making it critical to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your survival while Dungeoneering.

Progress The Story And Level Up In Potion Brewing To Discover New Potions

While you'll start off buying from Vera right in East Town, as you progress into the Fae Realm and later into the Mountains, you'll need some additional potions that allow you to better adapt to each region's climate or natural disaster.

You'll receive a main quest related to each potion and will need to go back and make it yourself to show to the person who gave you the recipe before you can proceed. Additionally, once you've met Balarandi in the Fae Realm, she'll begin selling potions to you from her stall as well. She not only has more options than Vera does, but she's also got different sizes of potions.

She introduces you to the concept of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:brewing your own potions, and asks you to create a few before she allows you to proceed into the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Floating Ruins. From here on, you can craft your own potions at home. Processing ingredients and making potions both count toward the skill, and advancing it not only unlocks new recipes, but occasionally will yield bonus potions as well.

In the base game, you can buy potions from Vera in Azoria or Balarandi in 🧸the Fae Realm. In the Skies of Azoria DLC, you'll buy them from Herron in Skyvale instead.
