Fallen Legion: Revenants arrives in early 2021 as the s🦩equel to Fallen Legion: Rise of Glory.
Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory originally came out in 2018 as a compilation of two previous Fallen Legion games, Sins of an Emඣpire and Flames of a Rebellion. Rise to Glory allowed you to play both campaigns on PS4 and the Nintendo Switch, letting you s🔯ee both sides of an intricate plot steeped in political intrigue.
That's pretty much the same thing going into Fallen Legion: Revenants, but instead of seeing two♉ sides of the same story, we're seeing the story unfold from﷽ two different sides.
In Fallen Legion: Revenant, the world has been consumed by a strange miasma that tꦅurns beasts into mutated monsters and turns people into zombies. The last remnants of humanity survive in a floating castﷺle high above the dead world but are ruled by a tyrannical dictator known as Ivor.
A young noble named Lucien seems to overthrow Ivor and enlists the help of a revenant, the undead Rowena. She seeks to return to life so she 🀅can raise her still-living son, and the two embark on a plan to save the world.
The game uses the same general combat system as found in Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory, including in-combat characters represented by Exemplars. The big difference is a new conversation and stealth system where Lucien tries to navigate 🐠the political intrigue of Welkin Castle to achieve his goals.
As with the previous Fallen Legion, Revenants will feature a full Engish voice cast that will remind you a lot of watc🍬hing a well-produced anime. No word yet on whether or not the game will also arrive in Japanese with English subtitles as it did with Rise to Glorﷺy.
One of the main complaints about Rise to Glory (other than the complicated combat system where perfect blocks are essential) was the thick-as-molasses pl🍨ot that some found a little hard to follow resulting in a . Fallen Legion: Revenan🍌ts will hopefully learn from Rise to Glory's mistakes to raise its score just a little bit.
Fallen Legion: Revenants will release February 16 in North America, February 19 in 🥃Europe, and February 2🐽7 in Oceania for PS4 and the Nintendo Switch.
