Don't Be Afraid To Try The Original Fallouts

"I'm leaning towards doing what Enderal: Forgotten Stories did and putting it on Steam," Daponte tells me, referencing a similarly-scoped Skyrim mod. "It's just a platform that everyone has. It's easier to access, easier to update, easier to install. It's just more efficient.

The fan-made 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout London is launching on GOG because it's too big for Nexus Mods, which is why I asked Daponte if he had similar ambitions for Project Arroyo.

"We would have to figure out all the specificities with that, making it so you require Fallout 2 and Fallout 4 and all of its DLC to get it and make sure there are no legal issues. But we'll see - we're still looking into it. I'm personally leaning towards Steam."

Launching On Steam Means That Project Arroyo May Work On Steam Deck

One of the big upsides to launching on Steam means that it would be incredibly easy to get it running on Steam Deck. Even if Project Arroyo doesn't implement official support, unverified games can be tinkered with to run on the handheld.

"Maybe, we'll see," Daponte says when I mention the idea of getting a Fallout 2 remake running on Valve's newest hardware. "I don't even know if mods work well on Steam Deck, to be honest. I'd have to ask my friends."
