Fallout 3's journey throughout the Capital 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wasteland is rife with a variety of colorf♛ul characters. From inspiring DJ Three-Dog to the stern Colonel Autumn, to even ♔our own enigmatic father, the Lone Wanderer's quest is far from lonely.

Among the countless people players can meet, there are those who can accompany us on our journey. Companions offer plays company on their journey, often with their own quirks. But not all companions in Fallout 3 are created equal, be it in use for ಞbattle or compelling personality.

8 Sergea🍃nt RL-3

Sergeant RL-3 is one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout franchise's iconic Mr. Gutsy robots, a pre-apocalyp▨se war machine repurposed into a compatriot. For players wanting to be an absolute hero or villain, this metallic ally is unavailable, as he only accepts those with neutral karma. Though given his lack of characterization – RL-3 has no compelling questline or backstory, nor does he have any personality aside from loyal soldier – he's among the tamest, dullest companions.

All of Sergeant RL-3 SPECIAL stats are average at best, or lacking at worst. If players want a decent pac🎉k mule or heavy health tank, then maybe they'll find some use from this Mr. Gutsy. If not, best to look elsewhere.

7 Dogmeat

Fallout 3 Screenshot Of Dogmeat Barking

Man's best friend has been a returning 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:companion ever since the first Fallout game released in 1997. Though not the same dog as the first two games, this canine companion can be found in a similar manner, rescued from raiders who recently killed his past master. Due to the unfo♒rtunate circumstance of not being a human or humanoid, Dogmeat lacks compelling characterization, which makes him one of the weaker, relatively boring alli⛦es.

But what he's missing in personality, he more than makes up for in canid cuteness, and as a decent fighter. His SPECIAL stats are all on the high average end, and he's a tank when it comes to health. Sadly, Dogmeat is rather easy to miss in-game, so ifꦺ players want this faithful furry ally, go search the scrapyard south of Minefield.

6 Clover

Clover can be first met when the Lone Wanderer has to enter Paradise Falls to rescue some Little Lamplight citizens, as a personal slave to the outpost's owner Eulogy Jones. She's not the easiest ally to recruit, as she can only be purchased from Eulogy if players have extremely evil karma, which is no easy feat, especially if they want to rescue the Litt😼le Lamplighters.

Clover's combative stats are 🎃all slightly above average, though her health is a bit lacking, making her essentially a glass canon (a life as a slave would probably tend to do that). Overall, though, Clover is ultimately not a good person, and neither would the Lone Wanderer be to have purchased her.

5 Charon

Like Dogmeat and RL-3 before him, Charon is a non-human companion. Or rather, he's a formerly-human ally, given his status as a non-feral ghoul. This mercenary can be hired within the Ninth Circle, needing no specific karma to recruit. Not to say he doesn't have any morals or personality, being partial to his fellow ghouls and following a no-killing-innocents c🐎ode.

While Charon can be accessed as a companion through a small questline, his backstory and personality are somewhat lacking, as we never learn when or how he became a ghoul, or much else about him. What little personality he does have is ghoulishly charismatic and his stats & weapon adaptability certainly back that up. Like Clover, his poor health means he's a bit of a glass ⛄cannon, though.

4 🃏 🐻 Butch Deloria

Butch is a unique companion, in that he starts out as our childhood bully 🏅in Vault 101. He makes a rapid turnaround in our initial escape from the Vault and subsequent return in the optional quest, "Trouble On the Homefront." Outside from his iconic greaser-delinquent persona, Butch is a bit of a mama's boy and not the brightest bulb in the socket, which makes for a rather entertaining pack mule & meat shield, at the very least.

As an offensive ally, Butch is pretty average, and like quite a few other companions, doesn't have the best health stats. Overall, he's an average companion, and if humor o🐻r the tough-guy persona is what players want, then Butch is a perfect fit.

3 Star Paladin Cross ♌

This semi-retired 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Brotherhood of Steel Paladin certainly packs a punch. For the more nobly-inclined or militaristic players, Cross can make a perfect companion, as she's onl𒁃y available for those 𒊎with undoubtedly good karma. Plus, her background as a high-ranking Brotherhood member and partial cyborg certainly makes for a character rich in mystery and personality. As a human ally, Cross is among the stronger, with heavy hitting SPECIAL stats and higher-than-average health.

If players want a pack mule, thougꦕh, Cross isn't the best, having the lowest carry points of all other companions. Then again, if players lean heavily toward the role-playing or combative elements of Fallout 3, Star Paladin Cross makes f💮or a fantastic ally and companion.

2 Jericho

The last of Fallout 3's humaꦏn companions, Jericho is undoubtedly an intriguing character. He's a former raider, current resident of the city of Megaton, and optional companion should players have an evil enough karma. If someone's Lone Wanderer seeks a smarmy hitman for hire – with an extensive past among the Capital Wasteland and raider life – then Jericho is a perfect companion. Like most human allies, his 🌱hit points aren't his strong suit, but he more than makes up for it with his strong SPECIAL stats and extensive weapon abilities.

Be warned, if players decide to nuke Megaton before hiring Jericho as an ally, he'll be among the many casualties and will be locked out of recruitment for the rest of the playthrough (being dead will do that to you.) If players want a cold but loveable jerk as a companion, make sure to hire this 🎉former raider, especially before (that is, if,) they decide to detonate Megaton's megaton.

1 Fawkes

Super Mutants have been a recurring enemy ever since the first Fallout, but it was only with the advent of Fallout 3 that one became a possible companion. Fawkes is a former Vault Dweller of Vault 87, turned into a Super Mutant along with the rest of the Vault. Unlike his former compatriots, Fawkes eventually regained his senses – albeit, still greatly reduced due to his transformation – and ♉can be rescued & recruited from said Vault.

To atone for whatever atrocities he committed while lost to his mutation, Fawkes follows a strict moral code and won't accept the Lone Wanderer as an ally unless they have good karma. If that's how players roll, they'll find themselves with a tank of an ally with amazing SPECIAL stats, health points, and weapon capabilities all too boot. If players seek a heavy hitter or a wonderful ally to immerse in role playing, Fawkes is undoubtedly the best Fallout 3 companion to do it with.
