How To Get Mini-Nukes
Although the Fat Man is one of the strongest weapons in Fallout 4, its ammo type is scarce throughout the Wasteland. Fortunately, there are many ways to get Mini-Nukes if you know where to look, so here are twoꦏ of the best ways to get them.
Search The Castle
There are two ways you can get Mini-Nukes from the Castle. The first is by traveling into the armory, where you can find two Mini-Nukes. There's also a Fat Man next to one of the Mini-Nukes. You need to complete "Taking Independence" and "Old Guns" to access the Castle's armory.
Alternatively, you can purchase Mini-Nukes from Ronnie Shaw after finishing the "Old Guns" quest. The price 🅰of Mini-Nukes will vary depending on your Charisma stat and perks.
Create Weapon Emporiums At Your Settlement
One of the best ways to get Mini-Nukes is to craft a Weapon Emporium and assign a Settler to operate it. This is the highest level of the settlement weapon stands, so it's the most likely to sell Mini-Nukes.
The best part about Weapon Emporiums is that you can craft as many as you want, as long as you have enough Caps. You can find out how to get a lot o🧸f Caps in this guide.
You can craft a Weapon Emporium in a settlement with 3,000 Caps, five Wood, and three Steel. Additionally, crafting a Weapon Emporium requires the second rank of the "Cap Collector" perk and the second rank of the "Local Leader" perk. ꦜDepending on your Charisma stat and perks, Mini-Nukes vary in cost.
