In the wastelands of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout 4's Commonwealth, there's a myriad of cool side quests the Sole Survivor can get involved in for a bit of exᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚtra coin and some rare items. However, many of the quests are so well-made that they're much more th⭕an just gateways to more caps and items; they're excellent mini stories as well.

One of the greatest stories has to be the bizarre quest of The Big Dig, which sends the player on a excavation mission into the undergrounds of Boston thanks to a ghoul lady known as Bobbi No-Nose. The plan? Break into 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Diamond City's vault. Unfortunately, things exactly go off without a hitch. Here's everything the player may have not paid attention to while completing this quest filled with ghouls, mire🤡lurks and cramped underground tunnels.

10 Vault 108 Reference ඣ 🔯

Introduced first in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout 3, this vault became famous among fans for being rigged to fail and cause conflic🤡t. Its purpose was originally to study human behavior in a situation where power struggle and conflict was imminent. The vault was also the resting place of the countless hostile Gary clones.

During the Big Dig, the player wꦗill stumble across a few abandoned subway train carts. Inside one of them, they're likely to notice a set of wooden blocks which spell out the name "Gary". It's likely this is a reference to Vault 108.

9 🐲 Actual Public Works Projec✅t

Those familiar with history, and the past of Boston in particular, will immediately recognize the reference in the quest's name. The Big Dig was actually once the real nickname given to a pಌublic works project, which was meant to dig out underground highways under Boston.

However, the project became infamous quick enough. Its costs kept ramping up, anꦍd on top of that, it took the lif🌳e of a citizen when one of the main tunnels was finally opened up to the general public.

8 ꧒ Hancock's Role

Within the gಌame there are a bunch of quests that must be completed before a companion becomes available for the Sole Survivor. Usually, this quest somehow involves the companion in question and sees them helping the Sole Survivor.

But for Hancock, this isn't the case. The Big Dig is actually Hancock's companion quest, since he becomes available aꦚs a companion after its completion. However, playeಌrs won't know this until the very end of the quest, since none of it has seemingly anything to do with him.

7 The 200-Year-Old♏ Dinner 🐟

The entire Fallout franchise is known for putting a lot of focus on cool, small details that can be found all throughout their games. These little snippets of the past tell the🦩 player a lot about the world before the bomb went off, and one such refere꧂nce is found during the Big Dig.

In one o𒅌f the main subway areas, the player will come across a Port-a-Dinner machine, inside of which is a perfectly preserved plate of food. 𓆉However, Mel will comment that he wouldn't trust anything that looks that intact after 200 years.

6 Quest Activation 🌼

Players wanting to complete this quest will have to be careful about which others they currently have active, as the Big Dig might not be 🧸available to them. If the player has the Pickman Gallery quest active, he's working for Hancock and thus won't able to participate in the Big Dig.

Otherwise, the Big Dig can be started by knocking at Bobbi's door in the back alley of Goodneighbor. Sometimes the player will even b༺e approached by someone in Goodneighbor who will tell them of the job and the opportunity to make some extra caps.

5 ꦫ Leveled Power Armor

During the dig itself, Mel's robot Sonya can be guided to blow up any fragile walls. It's ཧimportant to note that the path for Sonya isn't linear and that the player can take other routes or paths to discover alternate rooms within the underground.

One of such rooms actually carries a leveled 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:power armor suit, which is worth picking up. It will be guardꩲe💝d by a mirelurk king, so go in prepared for some serious damage.

4 Persuading Bobbi 𝕴

After the truth about Bobbi's intentions is out, it's possible to try and persuade her to back off and just let things go. This requires a certain level of charisma, and depending on if any 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:companions are around, will incite specific reactions.

Aggressive companions like Cait, Strong and MacCready will dislike it if the player tells Bobbi to give up, while more diplomatic companions such as Nick Valentine, Curie, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Codsworth, Deacon and Piper will like the player for it.

3 Quest Reward And Choices 🌸

The cool thing about this quest, but also what makes it s🤡omewhat redundant, is that no matter what the player chooses at t🎃he end, they'll still get the most important results and rewards from the quest.

Even if the player sticks by Bobbi's side and kills Fahrenheit, they'll still be able to get the Ashmaker off her body. Moreover, Hancock will still bec♉ome available as a com✱panion.

2 💦 ಞMel And Sonya In The Wild

Once the quest is over, Mel and Sonya can actually be encountered in the wild within the Commonwealth. They'l🅠l act as a r༺andom encounter when the player is traveling around.

The only difference will be with Sonya, which will have had a major upgrade. The excavation bot will now be named Sonya Mk. 🐓II as it travels alongside Mel.

1 Bobbi's Rol🐼e After✃ The Quest

As for Bobbi, her fate after the quest is a bit strange and underwhelming. If she's alive after the quest ends, she'll simply return to her original location and won't interact with the player afterwarꦛds.

However, if she's dead, a bug sometimes makes it so that her corpse doesn't a🌌ctually stay at theಞ Freight Depot. Instead, it can be discovered at the Hawthorne Estate.
