Today must be December, because Fallout 76's Steel Dawn update is now available♚ to all players – or... did Bethesda accidently released the entire expansion a week early?
If you happen to play Fallout 76 on Xbox, the answer to that question is "yes." , Xbox players were able to download the Steel Dawn update a week early, although they couldn't actually play it. Bethesda immediately noticed the mistake and, instead of rolling back the servers, decided to push Steel Dawn live across all platforms. A brief maintenance period brought down the servers while the update was published, and ෴now all players can enjꦑoy the new and improved wasteland.
"We'd like to apologize to our Xbox players for any confusion today's issue caused, but we hope that everyone in the Fallout 76 community is as excited as we are to dive into Steel Dawn ahead of schedule," . Honestly? There's no need for an a🎃pology – sure there was a bit of confusion, but th🀅e Fallout 76 community is no doubt excited to dive into update ahead of its expected release of December 1.
Steel Dawn brings a lot of new content to the game. The big draw is the new Brotherhood of Steel questline, which will see you working wi🅷th the iconic faction as they try to bring order to the wasteland. Along the way you'll encounter new NPCs and have to make decisions about which factions you'd like to work for and against. There will also be a new S.C.O.R.E board andꦍ season beginning later this year.
Fallout 76 continues to thrive, despite🍸 getting off to a less-than-stellar start. At launch, the world of Fallout 76 was popu🦂lated by nothing more than other players – making it a fairly boring place to explore. Fast-forward to today, and the game has a bustling community, dozens of unique NPCs, and various questlines to keep everyone engaged. The Steel Dawn update is looking to do more of the same, and you can check it out for yourself right now.
