168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout: New Vegas is nothing short of a herculean feat considering its 18 month development period. Not only did Obsidian add gameplay improvements to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout 3's core combat, but they also created some of the most innovative and memorable quests in any modern RPG.
Most New Vegas quests offer a large amount of choice, whether outright stated or otherwise. When coupled with excellent dialogue, it is no wonder that fans revere this game's quests. For as many memorable quests as New Vegas has, however, there are just as many quests that players likely missed. Ranging from fan-favorites to more obscure picks, here are ten ꧒great quests you probably missed in Fallout: New Vegas.
10 𓄧 Flaꦺgs Of Our Foul-Ups
"Flags of Our Foul-Ups" is a short side quest located at Camp Golf. Sgt. McCredie is having trouble getting a squad of four 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:NCR soldiers to work together and needs your help.♈ If your Speech skill is high enough, you can convince each of them to work together to end the quest immediately.
Should the Speech check fail, the player has three additional options for ꦰimproving the squad, ranging from utilizing drugs to training their skills.
Completing thi🀅s quest💯 only takes a couple of minutes, but the dialogue and unique choices make it a fun diversion from the rest of New Vegas' more in-depth offerings. The Misfit squad even has an ending slide despite being such a short quest.
9 Beyond The Beᩚᩚᩚ🐼ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚef
"Beyond the Beef" is far f✨rom a missable quest due to its ties with the main story. That said, we ღincluded it for just how many ways you can complete this quest. Playing this quest over a few playthroughs only scratches the surface of what is possible.
The premise is simple: Heck Gunderson's son, Ted, went missing the Ultra-Luxe casino. He needs you to find him. This simple fetch quest quickly evolves into a quintessential RPG quest with dozens of branching paths. Do you kill his son and frame the father for Ted's murder? Do you side with the casino and indulge in their dark secret? What about sacrificing one of your companions? The amount of options you have is absurd. "Beyond the Beef" is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout firing on all cylinders.
8 ꧟ For Auld Lang Syne
Starting Arcade Gannon's companion quest re🔯quires you to jump through several obscure hoops. He must observe you complete one of the following quests:
- The House Always Wins
- Wild Card: Change In Management
- For the Republic, Part 2
- Wild Card: Finishing Touches
Witnessing that, Gannon will allude to his past, starting this quest. To get him to open up about the Remnants, you must earn five trust points by agreeing with him or completing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Intelligence checks throughout the game.
If you can jump through all of those hoops, Gannon offers one of the most memorable companion quests in the game. This quest also contains plenty of Fallout 2 references, making this a must-play for hardcore Fallout fans. You also𝐆 get one of the strongest armor sets in the game for completing this quest, so it is more than 🤪worth the trouble.
7 𒁏 🤡 Classic Inspiration
"Classic Inspiration" starts by talking to Michael Angelo at his workshop in Novac. He wants a few photos to get a feel for various wasteland layouts. With a camera in hand, you get an excuse to explore the different sights and vistas of the Mojave. There's no intricate diﷺalogue here or dozens of combat encounters. It's just you, a camera, and the wasteland.
6 ♌ Someone To Watch Over Me ♔
While you're at North Vegas Square, look for a guard named Crandon to score a series of odd jobs. The first task is sim🍷ple, asking you to escort squatters out of the area, but it eventually evolves into spying on someone's daughter.
Her mother is worried her daughter is hanging out with stre💯et thugs, hence why she asks you to spy on her. There's a silver lining in this quest that makes a poignant moral note towards the end. Alternatively, you can decide to go guns-blazing. The choice is yours.
5 Birds Of A🎐 Feather
Most avid New Vegas fans know about the Van Graff quest "Birds of a Featherꦗ." This quest lets players become a Van Graff, starting as a bodyguard before assisting in more demanding operations. What most players miss is theꦕ end of this quest.
Spoilers Below
This quest will eventually force you to kill Rose of Sharon Cassidy, one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the game's main companions. That requirement alone makes many players avoid this quest altogether, but it gets even worse. Assuming you kill her and talk to Gloria, she will ask you to oversee a Ceaser's Legion deal. In typical Fallout fashion, the deal goes south, forci🅷ng players to fight the Legion. Most characters that kill Rose are evil, which usually aligns with Ceaser's Legion characters. Backstabbing the Legion is a horrible idea for those characters, hence why many players never complete this quest. You can technically avoid any faction reputation loss by letting the NPCs kill the Legion, but this feels counterintuitive to what the situation implies. If you are roleplaying as a murderous psychopath, however, this quest is fantastic.
4 Comᩚᩚᩚ🏅ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe Fly With Me
"Come Fly With Me" is the epitome of a Fallout quest. At the REPCONN Test Site just south of Novac, the Courier will stumble across a group of Ghouls that are obsessed with reaching "The Great Journey." They intend to reconfigure a few model rocket ships so they can fly to space. It's ridiculous, endearing, has multiple ways to complete it, and has some excellent moral lessons sprinkled throughout the quest. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallo🍰ut quests don't get ♋more memorable than this.
3 Hard Luck Blues ✨
Speaking to Morgan Blake in the NCR Sharecropper Farms will start "Hard Luck Blues." She will mention that farming has been going poorly, likely due to the water supply. Players will need to travel to Vault 34 to investigate the water supply. Without spoiling the rest, this quest𝄹 ends up evolving into a serious moral dilemma with no right answer.
Spoilers Below
Inside the Vault, pla🔯yers will disc𓂃over that the water is irradiated. However, fixing the water is rather complicated as vault dwellers have been using the water to keep themselves alive. You have to either divert the water to the farm, killing the vault dwellers, or leave the water be. There's no good ending here: people will die no matter the decision you make. "Hard Luck Blues" doesn't provide Karma for completing it either. No quest demonstrates the harshness of the wasteland as well as this one.
2 🐟 Dܫemocracy Inaction
Vault 11's unmarked quest is one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:best examples of environmenﷺtal storytelling there is. Through environmental queues and audio tapes, this unm𝓀arked quest manages to pull at the heartstrings by showcasing the cruelty of Vault-Tec's experiments. Spoiling it would ruin most of the impact this quest has. Every New Vegas fan needs to explore this Vault for themselves.
1 ಌ Pimp-Boy 3 Billion
That is not a joke; there is an unmarked quest in Fallout: New Vegas that gives you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a golden Pip-Boy if you complete it. This unmarked quest lacks a name. To start it, speak to Mick at Mick & Ralphs and ask about the Omertas. So long as you haven't completed "How Little We Know," Mick will give you a re🅰quest.
Spoilers Below
During the "How Little We Know" quest, you must side wi🌠th the Omerta's and ask them to purchase guns from Mick once again. Returning to Mick will give you the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion, ending the quest. There are alternate ways to complete this quest that in✅volve freeing Troike, but they are much more convoluted than the above method. Considering none of this is marked and tied to a side mission, it's surprising Obsidian created a quest like this at all.
