Machine Frequency was released as♏ a scenario for Free RPG Day 2022, first being originally published as part of the Wasteland Warfare Roleplaying Game expansion for the Wasteland Warfare line of Fallout miniatures.

It was adapted for use in Fallout: The Roleplaying Game,🔯 and tasks players with tracking down a crashed Brotherhood of Steel vertibird and, hopefully, wh🥂at is left of its crew. Being an adapted release, this scenario is less fleshed out than the others, and as such serves as more of an interlude when compared to the rest.

This scenario once again conc🎀erns the familiar area of the Commonwealth, the well-trod location of Fallout 4, but set prior to that game. The Garden of Eden Creation Kit holds a vast potential to reshape the landscape of the wasteland, and although this scenario begins with aღ simple investigation, that potential will be revealed.

The principal problem perennially plaguing the wasteland, besides all of the radiation, super mutants, and hostile wildlife is, of co🥃urse, the common raider. So much so that a recently established hospital has put out a distress call after they have fallen under siege to a gang that has set their sights on the vulnerable clinic and the supplies it contains.

The call is answered by you and your fellow players, and the adventure to save the hospital begins. Save the day, and have your will of loot while you're at it.

A new, mysterious creature is making a name for itself in the wasteland, hunting first a band of super mutants holed up in an abandoned factory and then the players of this scenario after taking refuge from a passing storm.

The fact🎶ory, then, is the staging ground for the hunt, win or lose. With plenty of options for negotiation, characters not as adept at combat will still have an important role to play in this scenario.
