Through a few journal entries, you discover Randall Clark was a soldier who lost everything when the bombs dropped. Instead of giving up, he hid inside a cave and watched a group of survivors. Using his own knowledge as a soldier and survivalist, he tried to help the survivors without being seen, later being worshipped as a divine figure and dubbed The Father by these survivors. It's a heart-wrenching and fascinating story of a character which is even more interesting because you never get to meet him.

The Dictator Of Caesar's Legion Makes An Intriguing Villain

Normally, when you go to confront the big bad, especially of a brutal faction like Caesar's Legion, you think you'd come across a monster in the form of some awful and cruel dictator. But instead you meet the somewhat soft-spoken and intelligent Caesar.

When you question him about Caesar's Legion he discusses it with you, claiming that the new world needs a strict order to try and survive the brutal apocalypse, and he chose the Roman Empire to model it after. You may not agree with him, but one thing for certain is that he's a lot more interesting than you'd ever imagine.

A Hardened Survivor Who Can't Talk

Another character from the Dead Money DLC from Fallout: New Vegas is Christine. When you meet her, you discover that her vocal chords have been removed, meaning that she can only communicate with you via gestures ꧑for the majority of the DLC.

You discover who she is, her past with the Brotherhood of Steel and her hatred for the antagonist of the DLC, Father Elijah, all without her saying a word. It's an impressive and risky angle they took with this character and makes her even more worthy of being considered one of the most well written, when her interesting character is discerned through a new way of conversing.

Similar to Caesar, Robert House is another intellectual who has tons of dialogue you'll want to sink your teeth into. He was the CEO of RobCo Industries who predicted when the bombs would drop and managed to save the Last Vegas strip due to his preparations, even when the bombs seemed to drop earlier than expected.

A cunning businessman, he and his army of securitrons have managed to keep a hold of the New Vegas strip and through conversation you can dis🥀cuss democracy, his plans, his backstory and much more as you progress through the game, leading him to be a fantastic addition to the Fallou♏t series.
