In the Fallout universe, one of the constants throughout all the games has been the presence of the Brotherhood of Steel. Each title, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:no matter the location, has f🌳eatured the BoS as an organization desperate to rebuild what was lost. While this is not necessarily a bad desire in the middle of a post-apocalyptic wasteland, the Brotherhood of Steel is much sketchier than many fans realize.

While there may be a senseꦺ of stability that comes with a strong Brotherhood of Steel presence, they shouldn't be as venerated as they sometimes are by fans. The BoS is actually very misguided and ineffective, despite their efforts.

10 𝔍 They Have An Unrelenting Conviction About Their Mission

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having deeply held convictಞions. Convictions help stabilize people and often encourage selflessness and sacrifice for the greater good. However, it is healthy for everybody to have boundaries in all aspects of life, including their convic✱tions.

The Brotherhood is willing to travel across the country searching for technology from before the war to either des𒈔troy it or hold it for 🍨themselves to prevent such an atrocity from ever happening again. Their hoarding could lead to catastrophe if their leadership is not careful and just.

9 They Created A Cult Around🦄 The Organization 𝐆

Martin Luther King Jr. once wisely said, "A man who has nothing he is willing to die for has nothi🅷ng worth living for." In other words, if you do not believe in or love anything enough to die for it, your life is meaningless. This is why people risk their lives for their country, their family, or for other causes that are dear to them.

However, there is a line between believing in something and being fanatical to a fault. The Brotherhood blindly invades other regions with their ideology and forces compliance upo🐠n the populace.

While it is not impossible for outsiders to join the Brotherhood, much of the Brotherhood prides itself🔜 on being descendants of a group of soldiers originating from a base in California. Even though they themselves had nothing to do with the founding of the organization, they expect privilege because of their ancestors.

The Brotherhood eventually had to allow outsiders toܫ join their ranks in order to elevate themselves to the large numbers and establish domina🐬nce throughout the former United States. Nepotism undoubtedly still played a role in their operation.

7 🔯 They Invade Other Regions For "Everyone's Benefit" ಞ

When the Brotherhood of S🐻teel introduced itself into the Commonwealth and other regions, there was rarely a call of distress from the existing residents for the Brotherhood to invade the land.

Since there was no request by the people of most regions for the regiment to come, the Brotherhood could accurately be♓ regarded as an invading army. The Brotherhood, in an effort to avoid repeating the past, follows the example of countless imperialistic countries who sent arm🍌ies to "help" other regions.

Because the Broth💟erhood usually comes to other areas without an invite and without other causes such as an attack by a rival faction, the Brotherhood is imposing their will on anyone who lives in the invaded region.

While the ability to self determine one's destiny has always been an American ideꦇal, the Brotherhood of Steel clearly forgot their ancestral roots as American service members. It would be one thing for them to only come to places that desire their help; unfortunately, they make the ꦿdecisions for the residents.

If the Brother﷽hood of Steel was looking out for the wellbeing of civilians, the group would focus more heavily on eradicating k🌱nown nests of feral ghouls, aggressive super mutants, and non-sentient deathclaws.

Unfortunately, instead of eradicating these known threats, the BoS preferred💛 to tackle other organized factions that were influential within the invaded regions. Instead of seeking partnerships for the common good, they demanded compliance.

One of the driving principles of the Brotherhoodജ of Steel is that other groups and people are unable to be trusted with weapons of mass destruction. While there is certainly an argument of whether anyone should have such weapons at all, it is hypocritical and shortsighted for the Brotherhood to seek to be the only faction with the ability to harness such great power.

As Uncle Ben famously t🔯old , "with great power comes great responsibility." Unfortunately, the Brotherhood of Steel doesn't seem to trust anyone but themselves with any responsibility.

3 ಞThey Promote Human Exceptionalism

The Brotherhood of Steel only seems to have the interests of human beings in mind. While there were many other sentient species in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout, the Brotherhood rarely bothered to consiꦗder species such as ghouls, super mutants, or synths as worthy of life.

While all three of these other species often posed a threat to the survival of humans, the Brotherhood rarely, if ever, sought peaceful recꦐonciliation with other life. Instead, extermination was almost always consid🔯ered the best option.

2 They Destr🌜oyed An Abolitionist Movement

For 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout 4 players who decide to side with the Brotherhood of Steel, there is a questline in which the Brotherhood wipes out the Railroad. While the main target of the Brotherhood in the game is the Institute, the Railroad is comprisedﷺ of synths and synth allies who are attempting to escape the control of the Institute.

While 💛it is logical for the Brotherhood to feel threatened by the Institute because of the latter's efforts to replace people with synths, it makes little sense to profile all synths as the enemy, as they apparently did.

1 They Atte𝔉mpted to Wipe Ou🎃t a Sentient Species

Between the extermination of the Institute and the Railroad, the Bಞrotherhood of Steel was effectively trying to eradicate an entire race of sentient beings. It did not matter if all synths were loyal to their creators; every synth was considered a threat to the survival of humanity.

While many escaped synths likely would have been happy to join with the Brotherhood in a battle against their former oppressors, it seems that the Brotherhood was likely concerned about innate programming that would have continued the mission of the Institute.
