One ♈super creative gamer has created a case for Nintendo Switch ไgames shaped like an NES cartridge.

The NES cartridge is a pretty unmistakable look for being so simple—a blocky grey polygon that reminds tons of classic gamers of the good ole days. With the use of a 3D printer and some know-how, Reddit user u/nexusgx (otherwise known as @flyingpurplebovine on Instagram) was able to create the ultimate carrying case for a true Ni♛ntendo fan.

While the cartridge its modeled after is on the small side, this printed creation is actually taller than the system it’s designed f𓆉or. The case has a slip sleeve and can hold a dozen Nintendo Switch games. In a video posted to Reddit, Flying Purple Cow shows off how easily the case slips off when its time to game and how tightly it holds when jostled.

Flying Purple Cow has released the designs for the case on PrusaPrinters, MyMiniFactory, and🧸 Thingiverse, s🔯o that fans who have access to those brands of 3D printers can build their own. Currently, the creator is working on getting a shop up and running to sell the cases, but for now it’s a bit of a DIY situation.
