A Reddit user has started a campaign amongst Pokémon fans for Game Freak and N🗹intendo to remove trading evolutions from the next game. The post was in respon💝se to the company’s online subscription paywall that locks many of the game’s features behind a demand for more money.

Redditor ‘Gettingridofpeople’ announced over the weekend that they think Nintendo and Game Freak are now asking too much of their customers. The user explained how players already have to do the legwork in finding certain Pokémon and specific items to then risk the evolved version being stolen from other users. The company has only made it pos🐎sible for players to trade online if they have a Nintendo Online 🧔subsc♛ription and a Pokédex can only be fully completed through trades.

Trade Evolution simply means that a traded Pokémon can be evolved through the trade without using any candy or special items. However, once a Pokémon is traded,🗹 there is no guarantee thaꦦt the player will send your evolved pocket monster back to you. Generally, most players are honest and will aid other trainers in their quest to Pokédex completion. However, this unsportsmanlike trait is not unheard of. The Redditor emphasized how it’s a gamble to trade a shiny Pokémon with a perfect IV (Individual Value) and risk not getting the evolved version back after the trade.

You can’t complete the game’s Pokédex without online trading, which is something that users also want removed. Nintendo and Game Freak’s pitch was that trading evolutions and online trading, in general, was created to bring a social aspect to the game, but gamers feel a little differently. Because trainers now need to buy the Pokémon Sword and Shield expansion pass - containing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Isle of Armor and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Crown Tundra - for full Pokédex completion, players have debated that the🌠 compಌany is only concerned about making money.

It’s a concept that exists throughout a lot of games, where companies will ask for more money from players in order to gain a certain item; a topic that has also sparked the recent debate of loot box gambling. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The expansion pass, Pokémon Home, and the online subscription is a big investment for gamers who can't𓂃 enjoy certain parts of the game without it.

Pokémon has always carried social aspect🧸s within its games and even the trading card game since its inception. While money🌼 will always be a factor in the industry, there is still a risk involved with trading evolutions that perhaps Nintendo will address in the future.
