UK customers who purchased physical copies of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Far Cry 6 for PS4 are finding that they are unable to upgrade to PS5. As first reported by , it appears that they were sent Russian copies of the game, leaving th🐷em unable to launch the game on t🔯heir PS5.

Players affected by this error can only get the PS5 upgrade if they create a new profile, listing their region as Russia. Many are reluctant to do this however, as they will♕ not be able to access any DLC purchased through their usual PlayStation account.

In a video shared to Twitter by Stuart Pearson, it's demonstrated what happens when you try and play a Russian PS4 copy of Far Cry 6 on the British PlayStation account. While the console will show what game is inserted, there is no option on the menu to upgrade the copy to a PS5 version. In the video, Pearson switches over to a Russian account, and the option to upgrade appears.

Pearson isn't the only player experiencing this issue, with several others taking to social media to complain about the apparent mix-up. Ubisoft is yet to comment on the complaints, so the only solutions for those affected are to wait for it to come to the company's attention, or start playing on a Russian PSN account.

If these reports are accurate, this wouldn't be the first time a Ubisoft game has been shipped incorrectly. As Pearson alludes to in the Twitter video, some British players claimed to have received Russian region versions of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, again preventing them from upgrading to the PS5 version. Ubisoft did eventually address this, so it is likely that those who have received the incorrect versions of the game this time around will eventually get sent the right one.
