But even after the celebrations and the credits, there are still a handful of unanswered questions about what transpired in Far Cry 6.
The following list contains entries that have major spoilers regarding the game's story. Only continue reading this post if you've finished the main campaign.
8 💯 Why Didn’t El Doctor Kill Dani And Pಞaolo?
During the Maximas Matanzas mission set, Paolo is kidnapped and held prisoner by El Doctor, the insane head scientist behind the development of the drug Viviro. Dani Rojas locates Paolo, but it turns into a trap as they’re captured by El Doctor as well. Instead of simply killing the pair and dealing a massive blow to the resistance front, the scientis🦹t injects Dani with the pois🌌onous toxin.
We understand that villains tend to be overly cocky and their decisions to not just kill the imprisoned heroes almost✨ always blows up in their faces. But it really doesn’t make sense as to why Dani and Paolo survived their encounter with El Doct🉐or. If Dani didn’t end up killing the scientist after they escaped, it’s a fair assumption to think that Anton Castillo may have disposed of him himself for this major slipup.
7 𒅌 Why Didn’t Dani Just Kill Bembe?
Before Maximas Matanzas will even consider helping Dani Rojas and Libertad in fighting Anton Castillo, one of its top members has a request. Arguably the leader of Maximas Matanzas, Paolo tells Dani that he’s in considerable debt to a black market smuggler named Bembe. Upon finding Bembe, Dani is forced to complete a series of errands for t🔥he smuggler that eventually clears Paolo’s debt. But, of course, Bembe eventually turns on the group🍷 and offers Paolo to the FND in exchange for his survival.
When Dani first meets Bembe, they mention how they could just kill Bembe right then and there. The smuggler tells Dani that they aren’t a killer, despite mowing down countless FND soldiers. But what’s the difference between the people Dani is killing around Yara and Bembe? Clearly, there’s bad blood between Bembe and Maximas Matanzas, and even after Bicho’s mental breakdown was resolved, Dani 💃didn’t sound thrilled to report that Bembe was still alive. If Bembe is such an issue (he is) then why the hesitation? Because “there will always be a Bembe?” Not good enough.
6 🎉 Why Was Juan Selling Viviro 𝓀To The Yanquis?
With the final showdown loom▨ing, Juan Cortez drops a truth bomb on Dani Rojas. He reveals that he’s been selling shipments ꦇof Viviro to Yanqui buyers to help finance Libertad’s resistance efforts. Juan explains that Clara Garcia doesn’t know about the transactions because he wants to protect her.
Funding a resistance can be expensive, but selling the drug that’s been experimented on your own people seems like a line crossed. Dani’s been able to find and steal tons of caches around Yara, either from intel given by other guer💎rillas or bribed from FND soldiers. What exactly is Juan using the money to fund? Far Cry 6’s end credit scene confirmed that even though Libertad emerged victoriously, Juan is continuing to sell Viviro to a mysterious buyer. So if the money wasn’t necessarily all for Libertad, what’s Juan up to?
5 How Did Diego Not Hear The Grenade In Dani’s Cell? 🉐
Trying to be a good guerrilla, Dani Rojas agrees to help Juan Cortez deliver shipments of Viviro to designated drop sites to help finance Libertad. Unfortunately, Dani is abducted by Raul Sanch🧸ez, Anton Castillo’s top general. General Sanchez tortures Dani for information regarding Libertad, but when proven unsuccessful, Anton orders him to kill Dani. Diego kills Sanchez and begs his father to spare Dani, to which Anton agrees but tosses a grenade back into Dani’s cell as they walk away.
It’s fair to assume that Diego heard the explosi𝔍on and the game just didn’t show his reaction, but even still, how is this not brought up again? Diego clearly understands the horrors that his father has inflicted on the people of Yara, but because Anton’s his father, still supports him in a way. It’s strange why Diego puts so much faith and trust in his father when the game began with the young boy trying to escape on the boat. Knowing that Anton tried to kill Dani after Diego asked him not to should’ve convinced Diego that his father is not to be trusted at all, even by his own son.
4 ꦑ Why Doesn’t Dani Tell Clara She Was Anton’s Prisoner?
Although Juan Cortez tells Dani Rojas not to tell Clara Garcia about his side hustle selling Viviro to the Yanquis to “fund Li🍌bertad,” why doesn’t Dani tell Clara about being abducted and held prisoner by Anton Castillo? After Dani escapes the burning cell, they act like business as usual when they meet with Clara.
While it doesn’t make sense why Clara is kept in the dark regarding the Viviro sales (unless there’s an ulterior motive), it’s truly astounding that she wasn’t notified about Dani being captured. It’s only when Juan and Dani are alone when he asks if they gave up any intel to Anton. If they wanted to keep the Viviro sales a secret, they could’ve said Dani was captured in a cache raid or liberating a🌊n FND base. If Clara knew about Anton trying to kill Dani, it might’ve impacted her decision in agreeing to meet with him alone.
3 ཧ Why Does Clara Trust Anton?
Lat🗹e in the game, Clara Garcia calls for Dani Rojas to meet her for a secret one-on-one meeting at Dani’s old orphanage home. Clara explains that from the beginning, she knew that killing Anton Castillo wouldn’t magically fix Yara. She tells Dani that Anton wishes to end the war and meet with her, alone, to negotiate a peaceful transfer of power.
Unless we chalk it up as Clara♊ simply being naive, her trusting Anton makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. She’s been fighting against his regime for who knows how long, has seen the horrors he’s put Yarans through, and knows that his soldiers have killed countless Libertad guerrillas. Yet she thinks he’s just going to⛎ surrender? For someone who was a masterful tactician throughout the entire game, Clara uncharacteristically believing that Anton would simply hand over the keys to Yara was a huge slipup.
2 ꦉ Why Does Antoꦜn Kill Diego?
After Dani Rojas breached Anton Castillo’s fortress and held the dictator at g𓃲unpoint, it was only a matter of time before Libertad emerged victorious. Anton looks at Diego and tells him how he wished that he wouldn’t have to live the same traumatic experience he did and watch his father gunned down. While holding Diego in a warm embrace, An🤪ton asks Dani if they would take care of his son. Dani answers yes they would, but Anton accuses her of lying and shoots Diego in the chest before slitting his own throat.
The basic answer to why Anton killed his son is because he’s a psychopath, but honestly, that’🅠s still not a good enough reason. Anton loved Diego, taught him many life lessons throughout the game, and seemed to truly care for his well-being. Was he scared that Libertad would throw Diego in a cell to rot for the rest of his life? Possibly. But Anton should’ve recognized the connection between Diego and Dani, especially after his son advocated for him to spare her. Diego’s death was a senseless killing and further proved that Anton deserved to die.
1 How Does Dani Unite Yara? 🦹 ♊
Obviousꦐly, this question is answered based on Dani Rojas’s journey throughout Far Cry 6. They’re able to unite the splintered resistance factions of Yara by helping each group solve their personal problems, and in turn, they all agree to unite with Libertad to take down Anton Castillo. But...why? Why do the Monteros, Legends, La Moral, and Maximas Matanzas agree to work with Dani but not Clara?
Understandably, there’s a certain bit of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:video game plot schematics in play here; Dani is the main character, so of course, they’re going to be the ones that get everyone on the playing field. What doesn’t make sense is how Clara wasn’t able to unite the🧸 factions herself. She had personal ties with Talia in Maximas Matanzas and could’ve spared guerrillas to assist the Monteros. The only group that Dani found a way to join Libertad unexpectedly was La Moral. Ultimately, it makes sense from a general video game standpoint for Dani to unite Yara but from a realistic standpoint, Clara should’ve already h꧂ad these factions unified from the beginning.
