Water is a free resource in Farming Simulator 19, it is easy to acquire and you can get as much of it as you wish without having to pay for refills. If this is your first time playing the game, there are several things you should know before you really get into the game. Check out our guide on Farming Simulator 19 tips and t🦹ricks for beginners.
Where To Get Water
There are two ways to get water in Farming Simulator 19. You can take advantage of them both as they each have their own perks, or you can even decide if you just want to go with both options. Before anything else though, you need to go ahead and get a Water Tanker ready for use. Make sure you don't bring the wrong machine, some players have had troubles with this by mistaking the Fuel Tanker and the Water Tanker.
Natural Water Source
The first way to get water in the game is by getting it from natural water sources, meaning bodies of water such as the ocean, rivers, lakes, ponds. This way is somewhat riskier because there is a risk of drowning for the vehicle. You have to bring the Water Tanker near the water and submerge it partially. This way you can refill it. Be careful with the slope however, if it's too steep, your vehicle might be pulled completely into the water and drown.
If you wish, you can stop the refill by getting the tanker out of the water, otherwise, it will stop once it's full.
Water Tank
Another way to get water is with a water tank. Although some maps already have a water tank, you might want to get more for the sake of convenience. That's why this option is especially handy; you can place a water tank anywhere. So, you might want to place it near your animal pens to facilitate the amount of time moving the Water Tanker. The only downside is that you'll have to pay for it, however, once you've placed it on your farm it provides an unlimited amount of water.
Get the Water Tanker next to the water tank and you can refill it. Similar to how it works with bodies of water, you can stop the process by moving the vehicle away from the water tank. It stops automatically once it's fully refilled.
