Fatal Fury: City O🍎f The Wolves - Mai Shiranui Guide
Here's how to master Shira👍nui-style Ninjutsu and devastate your opposition with Ma🍒i Shiranui in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves!
Which makes returning characters,ಞ such as B. Jenet, so exciting to play, as she takes full advantage of the new systems, making her feel tremendously strong, while retaining what made her so fu🉐n and unique in Mark of the Wolves, where she made her debut. If you liked her back then, you will love her now!
B. Jenet Overview
B. Jenet is back and better than ever in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, bringing her solid rushdown-zoner hybrid playstyle along with her, making her exceptionally strong when paired with the new systems introduced in the game. Though with things such as her Harrier Bee no longer leaving her plus on block, she does feel a bit trickier to play, as you have to be deliberate and aggressive to get the most out of her.
Her projectile is also pretty good, but not great, which can be tough to deal with when facing opponents with powerful projectiles. Nonetheless, she can still control the space in front of herself relatively well, allowing her to try and force her opponent into a tricky situation, punishing them for making the wrong move or misreading the situation. Overall, she is a fairly well-rounded character, but will require some time and effort to master.
Furthermore, she has a pretty lengthy move list, which can be a problem for newcomers, especially if you aren't familiar with the system mechanics just yet. She can be exceptionally strong once she gets going and is very rewarding to learn, but if this is your first encounter with the series or genre, you may struggle picking her up at first. She's not overly beginner-friendly, but also isn't impossibly complex to learn. She's sort of in the middle!
B. Jenet Command List
Before dropping you into her lengthy and potent combos, let's first go over her extensive Command List, as you will be performing these actions throughout her combos, often chaining these moves together via Feints and Brakes.
We strongly recommend learning how to perform each of the moves in her Command List, as you will need to be able to execute them flawlessly during combos, some of which require specific timing, ๊which can be somewhat c🍌hallenging if you aren't used to it!

B. Jenet Tips And Tricks
Finally, to wrap things up, we would like to offer a few more tips and tricks for B. Jenet that can help elevate her playstyle, which involves being an extremely aggressive rushdown fighter with the ability to zone out her opponents. While her Baffles (⬇️↘️➡️ LP/HP) projectile isn't as strong as some of the other fighters for controlling space, it's remarkably strong in the corner, enabling her to set up lots of pressure.
For example, if you backed your opponent in the corner, using your HP Baffles, then performing a short hop jump-in attack with either j.LK or j.HK to create a very tight frame trap that allows B. Jenet to either go into a Special Move on contact, such as her Gulf Tomahawk (⬇️↙️⬅️ LK/HK), or land on block and attempt the loop again, go for a throw, or a wide range of other options, keeping them locked down.
She can pick up speed quickly, especially when she has her target backed into the corner. Her ability to set up okizeme pressure with her projectiles, dive kicks, and other aerial moves makes her very agile and hard to predict, especially when used with proper t🐓iming, spacing💝, and conditioning!
