Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves - Terry Bogard Guide🤪
The Legendary Wolf is back 🗹and bet꧅ter than ever! Here's how to obliterate the arena as Terry Bogard in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves!
Look no further than Mai Shiranui, who utilizes her family's history of Shiranui-style Ninjutsu to get the upper hand on her opponents, allowing her to take advan🎐tage of the unique systems and mechanics in City of the Wolves and unleash devastating and flashy combos!
Mai Shiranui Overview
Mai Shiranui is an excellent fighter in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, as she has several ways to control the space in front of her, enabling her to keep enemies out as she sets up her offense. However, while she thrives when you get the hang of her, she can be a bit tough to get the hang of, especially if you're a newcomer.
Like every character in City of the Wolves, Mai has a ton of player and character expression, which shines brightly in her combos. However, she requires very strict timing during her combos to get them down, which is what makes her slightly mor🏅e challenging to play if you're not used to the Brake or Feint systems.
She has many tools at her disposal that can allow her to cause frame traps, constantly placing herself at an advantage with proper spacing and timing. Furthermore, Mai also has great anti-air options and comboability from counter hits, making her tremendously strong from pretty much any ꦡrange.
Overall, if you're looking for a character with a high skill ceiling and many intricate combos, Mai is the one for you. While she may take some time to get used to, she is incredibly rewarding to play and will consistently showcase your improvement if you stick with her!

Mai Shiranui Tips And Tricks
As you can see from her hefty Command List and complex combos, Mai Shiranui is no joke in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and will require quite a bit of dedication if you want to become proficient with her in combat. While she is remarkably fun and rewarding to play, she is not what we'd call beginner-friendly, so keep that in mind if you select her.
Frame traps are a substantial portion of Mai's gameplay strategy, allowing her to go into one of her many devastating combos if she lands the hit—in most cases, her c.HK (FE) > c.HP will be her best frame trap, as c.HP is a two-hit normal, giving you ample time to react to it hitting the opponent, to then cancel into a Special Move to begin your combo.
Furthermore, Mai has many ways to launch her opposition, allowing her to land even more combos. For example, landing a Counter Hit with her Light Ryuuenbu (⬇️↙️⬅️ LP), the opponent will launch high into the air, allowing Mai to follow up with many different actions for devastating combos. This also works with her Heavy Hana Arashi (➡️⬇️↘️ HK) when landing a Counter Hit on opponents jumping in with an attack, allowing her to Brake it, then capitalize with a combo!
