Endwalker Makes Its Media Rounds

It’s no secret, Square Enix revealed months ago that the media would go hands-on with Endwalker in September. The MMO is set to reveal big secrets from the tour on October 13, and basing predictions on previous expansions, you can expect to see detailed looks at battle content, previews of new zones, and teases of story content. This year, di꧂rector and producer Naoki Yoshida already noted that the tour was inviting far more content🌳 creators when compared to older updates. Many of those personalities from the MMO have also made their attendance .

Series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is also makin♛g his ow♔n journey through Eorzea. He’s gearing up to join Yoshida at a second talk during Square’s TGS theatre, where he’ll explore the appeal and potential of RPGs. So far, we’ve seen Sakaguchi create an adorable Lalafell, while roping in Final Fantasy Tactics and 12 director Yasumi Matsuno along for the ride. It’s also been aꦗ bit comical, considering one of the most legendary names tied to Final Fantasy is still saddled with the free trial.

Aether Opens Up

Final Fantasy 14’s new surge in popularity is exciting, but it doesn’t come without its own troubles. Yoshida has been quite honest about the challenges it’s faced during the pandemic and how hard it is to upgrade infrastructure given supply change obstacles. Final Fantasy 14’s final OST release before Endwalker comes in the form of Death Unto Dawn. Unfortunately, the CD sold out within just minutes of going up, and Square Enix has yet to say if it will share another batch of its super-limited collector’s item.
