Final Fantasy 14’s event schedule is picking up again this week. The Final Fantasy 15 collaboration may have departed back for Insomnia again, but Dragon Quest’s 𒆙adorable Slime-filled event is back. Outside of that, Final Fantasy 14 may slow down a bit waiting for Endwalker, but there’s still a few other beats to dust up on and look forward to. Square Enix just revealed how the usual leap between exꦬpansions will change Tomestones, while there’s also a bit of good news for Xbox owners.

Dragon Quest 10’s quest, Breaking Brick Mountains, is back in Eorzea again. It’s been a while since you last saw it, but this is indeed a repeat of an older event. It’s a nice visit, not everyone catches an event the first time it rolls around. For your troubles, you’ll get a ridiculous Slime King Crown and a minion, the Wind-up Brickman. Catching Up With The Treasure Trove
The Moogle Treasure Trove is also making its return, but as usual, it has a whole new set of items. This time, you can get the Inferno Jacket for your troubles. The glamour was once limited to players in China only, so this is the first time folks in North America, Europe, and Japan can complete the edgiest ensemble with the top. If you saw the Square Enix announcement detailing all of your precious Tomestones are about to change (or go away completely), don’t worry. Ten Years Later, There’s Still Xbox Hope
Final Fantasy 14 has now launched on three generations of PlayStation consoles, but we haven’t seen a single release for any Xbox devices. Director and producer Naoki Yoshida has reassured fans over the years that the Microsoft platforms were still on his mind, it just never seemed to happen. That may change though, hopefully, as Yoshida commented in a recent interview there was still h♕ope for a sooner, rather than later, because talks with Microsoft have proven to be fruitful. Perhaps the wild success of the MMO will offer a brighter future for Xbox, as Final Fantasy 14 is now the most profitabl🍌e game in the series.
