It might sound counter-intuitive, but FIFA 20 players getting relegated on purpose in Division Rivals mode act☂ually makes a lot of sense.
FIFA's Ultimate Team has been a popular feature for years. However, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:EA Sports upped the popularity via the release of FIFA 19 when it added Division Rivals to FUT. Players not only assembled teams and played ♍against one another, but wins would earn them promotion to higher divisions, and losses would see them fall into relegation and tumble down a division🅠 or two.
There are ten divisions in total, and as most would have guessed, the very best players in the world compete in division one, while newcomers and the worst compete in division ten. At least that's how꧒ it should be. In reality, more talented FUT players have been getting relegated on purpose. By playing poorly, quitting games, and even just leaving their controllers unattended.
So why on Earth would people do that? Professional FIFA 20 players are even recommending their followers do it during streams. The point of it is based around the objectives set by EA Sports for people playing Division Rivals. Take the Summer Heat Objective which is active at the moment, for which the reward is a 93-rated Ferland Mendy. There are nine things players neꦰed to do to earn 🧸the reward, all of which are very difficult.
"Win five Rivals matches" and "Score using 89 OVR Summer Heat Mendy in 4 Rivals wins" are two of the nine obꦏjectives. Those, along with the others, are a lot easier to achieve when playing against people in lower divisions. Hence why players are getting relegated on purpose. Since they only have until July 17 to complete the nine tasks, they need to act fast, so the easier their opponents, the better.
That has turned FIFA 20's Division Rivals into something of a mess, as it isn't the first time this has happened this season. Players who should be in a lower division are switching to other modes as their opponents are way above their station. Meanwhile, the people who have relegated themselves on purpose are coming up against others who have used the same tactic, thus defeating the object of getting relegated in the first place. Considering the time of year, this might be an issue that isn't fixed until FIFA 21, if at all.
