There are several changes that have occurred in FIFA 23, especially in FIFA Ultimate Team or FUT when compared to FIFA 22. The changes that have occurred in FUT 2023 this time are more complex when compared to the previous year. One of these changes, for example, is the Chemistry feature on the team.
Previously, you could build chemistry for your team by having players from the same country, league, or team. But in FIFA 23, there are a few more details regarding Chemistry that you must complete so that your Chemistry can be full. Let's dive into how this feature works and all its changes.
How Chemistry Works
In simple terms, Chemistry in FIFA 23 has three main factors, called Diamonds. For every Diamond that is filled, a boost will be added to your player's stats. If the three Diamonds are fully filled, then our player will get a significant stat boost if we use Chemistry Style.
What makes the difference in FIFA 23 this time is the absence of Minus Attributes. Previously, if our player had Red Chemistry or didn't get a link at all, his Attribute would be minus. Meanwhile, in FIFA 23 the minimum attribute is zero. That is, if you have a player who is not played in his original position or has no chemistry at all, his stats will not be minus and will only adjust to his original stats.
How To Increase Your Chemistry
💜Firstly, you haveꦏ to understand the following table:
1 Chemistry |
2 Chemistry |
3 Chemistry |
|
Club |
2 Players |
4 Players |
7 Players |
Nationality/Region |
2 Players |
5 Players |
8 Players |
League |
3 Players |
5 Players |
8 Players |
In this table, it is clear that if we want to bring up one Diamond Chemistry, we must have players; two players in the same club, two 🌳players from the same country, or three players from the same league. And so on.
As an example:
If you have Mbappe in your team but you don't have players from the same club, country, and league as him, then his Diamond Chemistry will remain empty. So, to add one Diamond Chemistry, you must have other players from either the same team, country, or league. However, if you have Theo Hernandez alongside Mbappe on your team, then your Diamond Chemistry can increase by one. This is because Mbappe and Theo Hernandez both defendꦬed in the French National Team.
Likewise, if you have Messi on your team, your Diamond Chemistry will increase by one because Mbappe and Messi are both playing for the Paris Saint-Germain FC team. It's the same as if players are from the same league, but the difference is that your league category requires three players from the same league to bring up one Diamond Chemistry.
This also 🍬applies to two Diamond Chemistry and three Diamond Chemistry. The more players from the same Team, Country, or League you have, the more increased your Diamond Chemistry will be.
Chemistry Style
As we mentioned bef♎ore, the more Diaꦦmond Chemistry you have, the more boost stats you will get. This is because each Diamond Chemistry has its level, namely:
- High Increase
- Medium Increase
- Low Increase
This means that if you have a player on your FUT team with three Diamond Chemistry, the greater the Chemistry Style he will get. This is 𒅌where the Chemistry Style youಌ choose can affect the quality of the players you have.
Best Chemistry Style In Every Position
As previously explained, Chemistry Style can increase the stats of each player, and choosing the right chemistry for players is quite tricky because each player has different attributes. Here are the best Chemistry Styles that you can use for every playꩵer in every position:
Goalkeeper
The important attributes that must be possessed by Go🔯alkeepers are Handling, Diving, Reflexes, and Positioning. So, we suggest that you take:
Glove |

Midfielders
Midfield is one of the most important positions in a football team because they have to help in defense as well as in attack. Therefore, you must complement their attributes in both, especially in the Defensive Midfielder, which can also help with the b🔥uildup process. For Defensive Midfielders themselves, you can follow the Chemistry Style of a center-back to defend, but you can also check the following Chemistry Styles:
