168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 10 celebrated its twentieth anniversary earlier this week. Released July 19, 2001 on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 2, the🧸 story of Tidus and Yuna cemented itself into countless childhoods, and has stoꦫod the test of time by remaining one of the most popular entries in the series. And yet despite all this, a remake feels a million miles away.

But if you were wondering what Spira could look like if it was given the same love as the new Midgar, then look no further. Animator 🦂Toby Saunders has recreated iconic shots from Final Fantasy 10 in Unreal Engine with ray-racing, breathing new life into the twenty-year-old title.

The trailer appears to be built from the ground up, featuring completely new character models, as well as rebuilt locations across Spira. Towns such as Bevelle are very basic in the original game, with the interiors being static backgrounds. However, here they're in crisp 4K, full of detail and life. Weather effects in particular are used to make these locations infinitely more immersive than before.

The new Tidus model is particularly detailed, capturing the same style from the original Final Fantasy 10, while also showing off what he could look like on modern hardware. Much like with the latest Cloud render, you can see skin pores and light spots, yet it remains faithful to the series' character design.

Saunders' fan-work may leave you wanting a remake of Final Fantasy 10, but that's not likely to be on the cards for some time.
