Where To Find Every Cie'th Stone Missions In Final Fantasy XIII

The final form of l'Cie who failed their Focus, Cie'th Stones offer rewards to the party if they hunt down and destroy specific monsters. There are 64 Cie'th Stone missions in all; with this guide, you'll be able to see each one through and claim some of 🍸the game's most powerful equipment.

Each Mission is assigned a number that is visible in-game, but they won't necessarily be unlocked in numerical order. For ease of reference, they are presented here in order from one to 64. If the Cie'th Stone for the Mission you want isn't yet activated, double-check to be sure its Mission has been unlocked.

Hunt Mission Rules

Interacting with an active Cie'th Stone allows you to take on its Mission. Only one Hunt MIssion can be active at a time; if you accept another mission b🦂efore completing the one you have, the old one will be abandoned until you return to the Cie'th Stone that 📖assigns it. You can also abandon your current Mission by revisiting its Cie'th Stone.

The target, or Mark, for your current Mission is shown on the minimap with a pink star. Once a Mission has been completed, you can repeat it by revisiting the Cie'th Stone, though the mission's pri🍬ma🧜ry reward is only given the first time.

Some Cie'th Stones will transform into Waystones when their 𝓡Mission is completed. Waystones allow for fast travel between them, so completing⛦ these Missions will make your exploration of Gran Pulse much easier.

01 - Pond Scum

Cie'th Stone Location	This is the fꦯirst Cie'th Stone you'll find; it is encountered the first time the ♒player enters the Archylte Steppe in Chapter 11.
Unlock Requirements	N/A
Mark Location	An Ectopudding near the middle of Central Expanse in the Archylte Steppe. Look for a pond and the Ectopudding should be nearby.
Battle Tips	The Ectopudding is immune to physical damage but is weak against lightning-elemental attacks like Thunder.

02 - Goodwill Hunting

Cie'th Stone Location	Near the pond in🐻 Central Expanse where the Ectopudding was defeated in Mission 01.
Unlock Requirements	Complete Mission 01 - Pond Scum
Mark Location	The Uridimmu lurks just south of the Cie'th Stone. Keep an eye on your minimap.
Battle Tips	You'll need to divide and conquer in this fight. The Uridimmu is weak against lightning damage but immune to ice. Conversely, its Gorgonospid minions are weak against ice but only take half damage from Lightning.

03 - Massif Contamination

Cie'th Stone Location	Located in sou🐟thern Central 🥂Expanse, near where the Uridimmu was defeated in Mission 02.
Unlock Requirements	Complete Mission 02 - Goodwill Hunting
Mark Location	You'll need to backtrack through Vallis Media to reach Yaschas Massif. At the end of the first long trail in that r🦩egion, you should see the Ugallu on your minimap.
Battle Tips	Be 🌜ready to deal with Curse and Poison status effects. The Ugallu is immune to lightning damage but weak against icꦛe and wind.

04 - A Hero's Charge

Cie'th Stone Location	Located in Yaschas Massif, near where Ugallu is f𝕴ought in Mission 03.
Unlock Requirements	Complete Mission 02 - Goodwill Hunting
Mark Location	From the Cie'th Stone, travel west to the Ascendant Scarp🐷 area. You'll find the gang of Adroa along the♓ main path.
Battle Tips	The battle consists of four Adroa and two Verdelets. While they are individually easy to pick off due to their low Stagger threshold, they can summon allies like Ugallu if left alone. Magic attacks are ineffective against these impish creatures, so focus on physical combat and try to mop them up quickly.

05 - Joyless Reunion

Cie'th Stone Location	Locaꦬted in the Ascendant Scarp of Yaschas Massif, near where the Adroa were fought in Mission 04.

Mark Location	From the Waystone that was activated after finishing Mission 03, head north to the Tsumitran Basin where Edimmu lurks.
Battle Tips	Edimmu casts Imperil often, so be ready to deal with its effects. She is resistant to elemental damage, so ham🐽m༒er her with Ruin and physical attacks to Stagger and defeat her.

06 - No Place Like Home

Cie'th Stone Location	After activating the Waystone near the entrance to Yaschas Massif, take the western path all the way to the end to reach the Paddraean Archaeopolis. The Cie'th Stone lies just before the entrance to the ruins.
Unlock Requirements	Complete Mission 03 - Massif Contamination
Mark Location	After accepting the mission, turn back and return to the Pass of Paddra to confront the Munchkin Maestro and its cohort.
Battle Tips	The Munchkins hit hard and fast with physical attacks augmented by Bravery, so Protect is useful here. Try to remove the buff if you can and retaliate iwth ice and lightning damage.

07 - Bituitus, the Pillager

Cie'th Stone Location	Located in the ruins of the Paddraean Archaeopolis, on the right-hand side.
Unlock Requirements	Complete Mission 03 - Massif Contamination
Mark Location	Bituitus appears in the same area as the Cie'tꦓh Stone, so look for the pink star on your minimap after accepting the💦 mission.
Battle Tips	Bituitus primarily deals lightning damage, so prepare for the fight by equipping any Spark Rings you have and keep Shell up during the battle (or better yet, Barthunder if you have 🐭it).
Reward (First Clear)	R&D Depot shop becomes available.

08 - The Eleventh Hour

Cie'th Stone Location	Return to the fork in the road in Vallis Media, wher⛎e Chapter 11 began, after completing Mission 05 to find the Cie'th Stone.
Unlock Requirements	Complete Mission 05 - Joyless Reunion
Mark Location	After accepting the mission, take the left-hand path from the fork towards Yaschas Massif. Rakshasa will be waiting for you along the path in the Aไtzilut's Tears area.
Battle Tips	Rakshasa has three Flan minions who can be quickly defeated with fire damage. The Mark itself is weak against lightning damage, but𒅌 beware - the Flans absorb𝓰 it, restoring their HP.

09 - Heave-Ho

Cie'th Stone Location	Located near the southeastern entrance to the Archylte Steppe, across from the Cie'th Stone for Mi♔ssion 01.

Mark Location	The Kaiser Behemoth wanders the Archylte Steppe's Central Expanse. 🍸Consult your minimap 🦂to see its current position.
Battle Tips	Like others of its species, the Kaiser Behemoth gains a huge HP boost when it stands upright. Try to kill it before that happens. The monster is weak against earth damage, but immune to wind and absorbs lightning.
