Here's how to approach every map and mode present in Final Fantasy🉐 14's PvP Daily Duty Roulette, Frontline.

PvP💯 Series 5 offers what you'd expect, except it offers new goodies to get your hands on with the Trophy Crystals you've likely been accumulating all this time. While you could spend them on items in the past, what's being offered this time around is arguably one of the best PvP glamour sets you can get your hands on!

Series 5 PvP Overview

The Malmstone Tiers for Series 5 PvP in Final Fantasy 14

As you're likely accustomed to by now, the Series 5 Malmstone rewards are primarily Trophy Crystals, with only five Malmstone Tiers offering a unique reward. Like past rewards, you will get an Emote, two Framer's Kits, a Minion, and an Attire Coffer for your efforts, with the final unique🐎🅷 reward coming in at Level 25.

Like all previous Series, every reward beyond Level 25 is Trophy Crystals, with each Tier beyond 30 offering 1,000 Trophy Crystals. You can only hold 20,000 at a time, so be sure to visit the Crystal Quartermaster in the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.4, Y:6.1) to exchange them for unique items (which is well worth doing this Series🌞)!

To progress through the many Malmstone Tiers of Series 5, you must accumulate Series Experience. The table below outlines how much EXP is needed for each Malmstone Tier bracket, allowing you🌠 to ascertain how much EXP is required in order to get all unique rewards.

Claiming Series 4 Rewards

The Series Malmstone Menu. The boxed area highlights the button that allows you to access the Previous Series and claim previously earned, but unclaimed Items. This can be done every new PvP Series in Final Fantasy 14

Much like last time, you claim any unclaimed Malmstone Rewards you missed in the previous Series by clicking the 'Previous Series' option in the upper left corner of the Series Malmstones page. You will not see this text or have this option if you have no rewar🍌ds to claim.

It should be noted that all Malmstone Rewards will be available to get at some point later down the road, but we have yet to see any of them pop up outside of this system as of yet. So, if you miss out on🍷 some of them, don't worry. You will be able to acquire them through some means in the future!

Series 5 Malmstone Rewards

Despite there only being five unique rewards per PvP Series to earn via the Malmstone Tiers, the ones you can obtain in Ser💧ies 5 are well worth the time and eff💟ort it will take to achieve Level 25.

Not only that, but the new items that can be obtained via Trophy Crystals are also pretty awesome this time around. The sections 🐼b🌱elow will cover each reward you can earn by progressing through the Series 5 Malmstones!

Level 5 of the Malmstone Tiers will reward you with the obligatory Emote, which is the Defeatist Attitude Emote, allowing you to make your character temporarily saddened. Finally, a way to express ourselves adequately after losing a close game of Crystalline Conflict or geꦓtting wiped in a Raid!

Level 10 And 20 Malmstone Rewards

The Palaistra and Cloud Nine Framer's Kits in Final Fantasy 14

Next are our Framer's Kits, which come in at Malmstone Levels 10 and 20. The Framer's Kit on the left in the image above is the Palaistra Framer's Kit, which you receive at Level 10. The one pictured on the right is the Cloud Nine Framer's Kit, your Level 20 reward.

Palaistra is a Crystalline Conflict Map, which the Framer's Kit captures in all its glory, allowing you to display your love for the competition proudly. Cloud Nine is a Landmark in Final Fantasy 14 located in Foundation, a zone within the Coerthas region!

Level 15 Malmstone Reward

The Tourmaline Weapon Minion in Final Fantasy 14

In between the two Framer's Kits, at Malmstone Level 15, is the Tourmaline Weapon Minion, which you may recognize as the Emerald Weapon from the slightly popular game Final Fantasy 7. It looks just as intimidating as a ౠtiny minion as it does a towering kaiju, but we love it all the same!

Level 25 Malmstone Reward

The Fierce Tyrant Attire in Final Fantasy 14

Our fifth and final reward at Malmstone Level 25 is the stunning Fierce Tyrant's Attire, offering one of the best-looking Glamour you can access via Malmstone Rewards. This set looks like it belongs to royalty, with the brushed gold-plated armor and deep red velvet found on the left shoulder and the cape!

Trophy Crystal Rewards

We typically don't cover what Trophy Crystals can get you when visiting the Crystal Quartermaster in the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.4, Y:6.1), but the new Tactical Sets are too good to exclude from this list. Howev𓂃er, they will cost lots of Trophy Crystals to acquire.

There are three groups of Tactical Sets, each with two colors you can choose from. Every piece of the Tactical Set will run 1,500 Trophy Crystals, making one complete Set cost 7,500 Trophy Crystals, so be sure to preview what each looks like b💮efore buying the one you want!

How To Earn Series EXP

FF14 Crystalline Conflict battle

And finally, to wrap things up, let's go over how you can accumulate Series EXP via Final Fantasy 14's PvP modes. As you may be aware, there are three PvP Modes in the game, all giving you different EXP payouts depending on whether your team wins or loses the skirmish. The table below showcases the EXP Rates ofဣ each mode:

PvP Series EXP Chart

PvP Mode

Winning

Losing

Crystalline Conflict

900 EXP

700 EXP

Rival Wings

1,250 EXP

750 EXP

Frontlines

1,500 EXP

1,250 EXP (Second Place)

1,000 EXP (Third Place)

As always, the raw data above does not tell the complete story. While Rival Wings and Frontlines will reward you more EXP per match, they will almost always last much longer than a single Crystalline Conflict match, which can be over and done within mere minutes.

Due to that, if you're looking to grind through your Malmstone Tiers quickly, Crystalline Conflict is actually your best option, as you can play roughly two to three matches of Crystalline Conflict in 🥀the period it would take to finish even one Rival ▨Wings or Frontlines game.

Furthermore, we only recommend doing Frontlines as part of your Daily Duty Roulette, as you will get an additional 600 Series EXP on top of the 1,000+ Guaranteed f♚or finishing the match. Outside of that, Crystalline Confli🌼ct will be your best option for quickly accumulating lots of Series EXP!
