Earlier today, , giving us our best look yet at what's coming in the Gods Revel, Lands Tre🌟mble update. The biggest news from the live letter is that the update will release January 10, which gives Final Fantasy 14 players a nice way to ring in the new year.
The bi𒀰g draw of Gods Revel, Lands Tremble is its new main scenario content. , we get to see that Zero is going to play a key role, something that's backed up by this description on the Final Fantasy 14 website, "In the darkness of the Thirteenth, the Warrior of Light finds an unexpected ally in a half-voidsent woman named Zero. She returns with them to the Source for a time, and upon recovering from their recent trials, they prepare to continue the search for Azdaja."
Outside of main scenario content, the live letter also confirmed some new side quests, including the continuation of Tataru's Grand Endeavour, and Tales of Neꦅwfound Adventure. As was teased yesterday, new side quests featuring Hildibrand will also feature in update 6.3. Gods Revel, Lands Tremble will also introduce a new dungeon, Lapis Manalis, which is set in an abandoned village in the snowy mountains of Garlemald.
One of the big reveals of the stream is that Ultimate Duty #5 will be titled The Omega Protocol and feature, you guessed it, Omega as the main boss. Square Enix seemed to think it was a big surprise considering the ⛦"secret" label that was slapped on top of it, despite it showing Omega in the trailer for the patch. The Omega Protocol is set to release two weeks after the launch of update 6.3, so you'll have some time to prepare.
