Summary
- Final Fantasy 14's Gong Cha collaboration is a disaster, to put it bluntly.
- In short, buying themed FF14 drinks can earn you codes for in-game items like mounts, but these codes are printed on incredibly scarce business cards.
- Scalpers have swept them up and are selling several online, turning profits in the thousands.
Yesterday, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 14 announced a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:collaboration with th🧸e bubble tea cafe Gong Cha in which fans can buy Cactuar, Fat Cat, and Chocobo-themed drinks to earn keychains and it꧒em codes. Howev🦹er, in just 24 hours, stock is running out and being plastered all over eBay for hundreds of dollars.

Final Fantasy 14: We Shouldn't Be Comparing Dawntrail To Endwalker
Not everyone is happy with FFXIV: Dawntrail's storyline, but I think part of the problem is p🉐layers comparing it to Endwalker.
calling the collaboration "terribly done" hit 800 upvotes before being almost🌳 immediately deleted. The poster claims that there were only 27 codes in the one Gong Cha near whe🍨re they live in Sacramento, California. Since it was the only one local to them, it was "insanely busy". They allege that they waited an hour and a half for just three drinks only to find out that they'd run out of the very limited number of codes.
In stark contrast, others cl🧜aim that they were given multiple codes after simply asking, rather than having to buy multiple drinks. But as eBay shows, a lot of these hando🔜uts are now being scalped for extortionate prices.
Item Codes And Key Chains Are Selling For Over $100
Gong Cha sells milk Bubble Tea for around $5. In contrast, digital Porxie King Mounts are being sold online from $80 to $150. One eBay user is selling four of these codes for $120 each and has already sold six othe🍌rs. That's $1,200 made on scalped codes from a cute little bubble⭕ tea collaboration. The worst part is that this is the case for many of these sellers.
The reason for the scarcity is that all of the codes are given out via business cards, instead of emailing them to customers or printing them on a receipt, alternatives that would make them far less rare. As such, unless you're among the first in line, you're not going to get a code. Especially if peop❀le are earning multiple at once.
The collaboration also launched in the middle of the week, and many have voiced frustration at having to wait until the weekend to so much as have a chance at getting a code in the collaboration. ꧑It's a mess, to say the least.
